I ordered grilled shrimp but got some very salty shrimp dish in a sauce with veggies. Pointless to complain partly because I was starving after the long wait and partly because the woman... More

We stayed here in one of the super budget "pods". They are genuinely pods and so should be for those on a tight budget - although warm water is a plus.

I have not eaten here but I have had their excellent Cuban coffee. It is a great place to sit and watch people go by.

Super slow service. Cuban coffee was good. Belizean breakfast was basic but satisfying. View was nice. Ok place for breakfast.

I've decided to go there yesterday for a Christmas dinner with a friends as there was a limited choices of restaurants during the night. A BIG mistake!!!!! The place look cute and it's on the beach which is a plus but the staff is extremely rude. The waitress ignored us most of the time and took our drinks order after... More

We had few choices for dinner on Christmas evening as many restaurants were closed for the holiday. La Cubana was not only one of the few restaurants open, the pig roasting at the entrance of the venue was enough to lure us in. We ordered roast pork (with an extra helping of skin) and a whole steamed red snapper. The... More

As I was trying to fall asleep I started feeling itchy so I got up & turned on the light & noticed blood stains on my sheets which is a clear indication of dead bed bugs so I pulled the sheet off and could see them crawling all over the bed. I spoke to the owner & explained I hadn't... More

I have stayed in a hostel La Cubana which is the first place you see coming from the boat, just at front of the pier. Sleeping boxes are super claustrophobic, the size of a wardrobe, and there s no fresh air. Beds were comfy but i woke up with my bed FULL of bugs:/ Bathrooms are nasty, dirty and full... More

After very long wait (an hr) i got my fish which is smaller than my hand and obviously not cooked here... More
