Recommended by our Lodge for real local food and they were right! Very busy on a Saturday for lunch but we were seated immediately by friendly host. The gentleman next to us was eating an amazing looking fish which he said was excellent so we ordered & split the whole red snapper which came with red beans & rice, mixed... More

Place looks a little sketch from the outside, but the food is wonderful and the staff are friendly. We spent a lot of time wandering around San Ignacio looking for food, and quite honestly, the cuisine in Belize can be a little suspect. This place is not. Stop searching for tacos and eating weird burritos with lettuce and come here... More

Stewed chicken with rice and beans for $3.50US! The chicken was tender and the rice and beans were great too. They also serve a little bowl of homemade salsa on the side. For restaurants in San Ignacio, this place wins for price on both food and drinks, and you still get great quality. Only downside: they were out of beef,... More

Friendly staff, delicious stew beef and chicken at excellent prices (BZ $8 and $7 respectively), delicious fresh juices (BZ $3) and ice cold beers (BZ $3.50), good size portions. Must visit for anyone wanting to try proper Belizean food.

I have been to this local restaurant a few times and every time I'm impressed with their meals. Very warm and friendly staff, clean atmosphere. Recommended to all ages and to locals and visitors.. it's right in the middle of downtown.

My wife and I ate dinner here last week at the recommendation of a local. Cenaida's was superb. The food (we both got stewed chicken plate with beans and rice) was great, and the fresh fruit juice was amazing. Note that this restaurant has moved a block over from where it used to be. We had to ask a local... More

My came with rice and beans and my daughter's coconut rice - and veggies. All was delicious! I also had a beer... More

Stopped in after kayaking all morning and we were starving. Meals included jerked chicken with rice and beans along with chicken fajitas with homemade tortillas. Food was fresh and we'll seasoned, we cleaned our plates quickly. Great menu selection and specials.

Some of the best local food you will find. Excellent specials and great service. I feel like sometimes the quality of certain aspects of the food (sometimes the salad, othertimes the meat) is not as consistent as I would like, but this only happens sometimes. Most of the time it is excellent.

We had the special (Grilled beef with peppers), grilled whole fish, and stewed chicken, all with rice and beans. All excellent, my son liked the chicken so much he ordered another. Super friendly staff, locals as well as tourists, fun bright colors, clean. Go to Cenaida's for sure.

Thank Lisa K
