A very nice hotel resort. Food is good but the overall setting is excellent. Dining is in a very unique tiered palapa.

Tucked away and behind a resort, The Quarterdeck Restaurant and Bar is an extraordinary surprise. World class food at moderate prices! Seafood are the predominant items on the menu and there is a special reflecting the catch of the day, e.g., baked or blackened red snapper in cilantro cream sauce. Turf fare include traditional steak meals as well as representative... More

We stopped in for breakfast during a recent family trip. Always a treat to stop in here during our visits to Placencia. Delicious food (especially the fryjack), beautiful setting, great service. Rene even helped us set up a fishing trip where we were picked up at the Laru Beya Resort. Can't wait until next time.

My husband and I went here for lunch. We were the only guests and the service (2 people) were not really giving us a warm welcome and didn´t make the effort to give us a good time. The food was really mediocre - it only had some good spicy feel to it after having used Mary sharp´s hot sauce which... More

We had breakfast here twice before and after a sailboat charter. The restaurant is part of the Laru Beya Resort across the highway from the Marina of the same name where the charter company was located. Everyone loved their choice from breakfast wraps to the fry jacks. All were served with a delightful fruitplate to start with. All tables have... More

Golf cart, no lights, very dark journey back to our villa... Fun times. The restaurant was worth the trip, however. Great lobster dishes, lovely presentation, friendly staff, very impressive building / layout. A bit far off the beach to be able to avoid mosquitos, unfortunately, but that's a bit of a minor thing. More worrying was the addition of crumbled... More

We stumbled upon Laru Beya resort and asked if we could use the infinity pool if we had lunch at the quarterdeck. They said fine and we had one of the best meals to date in Belize. The cerviche was fresh and generous and the fajitas were delish. So impressed were we that we came back another day for an... More

I had the chance to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner while I was staying in the resort, the prices are good compared to the location and service, the stuff are friendly, for sure you gonna like it.

This place has the most amazing food. I had grilled lobster tails with Louis's personally designed sauces of champagne butter and margarita butter. The staff including Ronald, Alyssia, Anna, and the cooks in the kitchen made us feel as if we were the only guests. My boyfriend found a coconut on the beach, and he gave it to Ronald who... More

So happy to hear that our staff helped make your visit an enjoyable one. Let us know when you have Belizean fare on the menu in South Carolina, one of us may just pop in! Thanks for all your kind compliments. Sincerely, Rene More
