My " go to" place for ice coffee and a fresh bagel and cremecheese. Love to relax on deck, keep an eye on happenings below, check emails on wifi, sometimes with banana bread.

Food and service was very good, will certainly go again while I am here. Very relaxing atmosphere where you can bring your dogs if you like. Right in the main road so it is easy to get to.

This is a friendly and relaxing way to start the day with a great cup of coffee. It is an adorable coffee shop too. My son absolutely loved the doughnuts and the carrot bread was a treat.

We loved to hop on our bicycles and grab a great cup of coffee to go. This little coffee shop was perfect. One of my favorite places in Placencia.

Great coffee and bagels, with a fantastic sitting porch to watch on the second floor to watch the world go by. Bring cash, no cards!

Feels like you are in a tree house. Good blended Belize/ Guatemalan coffee. Owner is an expat from UK I think and was very friendly as well. Lot of local expats hanging out on the back deck. Good vibe.

Sit upstairs overlooking main street in this authentic Belizean coffee shop with its Scottish owner. The coffee is really good.

A friendly Mom & Daughter were running things. Dirty Chai done right. Locals and tourists, ex pats a few people of questionable occupations and just the right atmosphere to sit up inthe trees hanging out with bromiliads, birds and watching people going about their morning...More

Above Grounds Coffee has established a direct connection with small independent farmers in Guatemala. Hand-picked, processed & roasted by small family operations. Their 100% mountain grown and 100% Arabica coffee beans are shade grown, hand-picked and then processed to organic standards. All fields meet elevation requirements for Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) grade and some meet the Fancy (F) grade. These two top grades (Fancy and SHB) total less than 2.5% off all coffee produced globally!
