This place was so relaxing after a day of PG adventure. The water slapping up against the piling with the sun setting, quietly allowing the evening to roll in. The Lion Fish was incredible!

I loved the restaurant lots of space with a deck and covered porch next to the ocean. The owner is very friendly and the food is fantastic though like most of belize a bit over priced. Many nights local people come with drums and young tourists also participate in the fun. The restaurant is open for dinner only 4pm to... More

If you are in Punta Gorda, you MUST stop by and eat at Asha's. We were so swept away by his delectable selection of food the first night we went, we had to go back the next day to try some more! We picked a few seafoods but let him take the reigns on how he wanted to season them... More

The only thing that made it bearable was the ocean view...the staff was unfriendly and it took forever to get your food. Don't go there if you are hungry. Seafood was ok, the rest was not great at all. In the end the barkeeper interrupted the paying for taking new orders from other people, who apologized to us. And they... More

I was in Belize two weeks ago for my birthday and the Bed and Breakfast I stayed at was just down the road form Asha's. Our cab driver recommended his spot on the way in from the airport, so my partner and I went for dinner that night. AMAZING food! AMAZING service! Asha is such an amazing chef and host.... More

Asha's fish dishes are heavenly. Fish was excellent but my favorite was cracked conch. Great atmosphere beautiful scenery and excellent food. This restaurant has to be on your go to list. Thanks Stacy and Asha for a great time!

The first time we went to Asha's for lunch, it was closed because we didn't know it opens until 3pm - but we persisted and WOW what a meal! We went 3 times - once just for some coffee and twice for dinner. The prices for normal meals there are very reasonable; even the special, which only cost about $15... More

I normally celebrate the entire month of October for my birthday. We traveled to Punta Gorda and Placencia. Punta Gorda is a little town, on the Caribbean but no beach. The people are friendly and helpful. We dined at Asha's Kitchen. Wow, this was one of the best meals on this trip. I had the coconut curry Shrimp which was... More

Culture is the reason we travel! A sojourn out of our norm. Words will not explain Asha's culture kitchen, it needs to be experienced. When the world wakes up to the health benefits of fresh never frozen they will follow Asha and the templet he has provided. Artistic meals made with love and passion from a man with plenty of... ***Top quality seafood and barbeque in Punta Gorda***Relax at the only restaurant and bar around that is completely over the sea. Fresh meals are cooked to order with sustainably caught seafood; fish are often caught by Asha (the owner/head chef) himself. Open kitchen serves hearty dishes prepared with healthy ingredients.Listen to various styles of live music – including Creole and Garifuna drumming, Mayan marimba, and international performances – all while enjoying the Caribbean sea breeze with a view of the Guatemala highlands from across the bay.Exceptional service and competitive prices. Business practices are very environmentally friendly. Marine tours, sustainable-fishing classes, sunset-booze cruises, and cooking lessons are available. Great meeting spot to get to know the locals, meet other tourists, or get detailed information on Toledo. We cater to all needs; including large groups, food delivery, and a variety of events. Please call ahead for large groups, to-go orders, directions, or our music schedule.
