We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a group. The room we had was quite large, clean, good bed. Looks decent, with ac and a ceiling fan. Restaurant was also good. Staff is polite.

I stayed at Don Udos at this time last year. I returned to Copan this year with a group of 7. A special dinner at Don Udos was on the "must do" list. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the beef tenderloin was a huge hit and at well under $20 a great value as well. No one walked away hungry!... More

I had lunch with my Rotarians friends at Don Udo's. Food was great. The waitress was very kind, but forgot a couple of things so we need to remind her about our order.

Our tour group enjoyed a lunch here, after visiting the archaeological Copán ruins. The restaurant is connected to a boutique hotel, and at lunch we enjoyed viewing the open courtyard and other accoutrements of the complex. The tour guide had asked our meal selections and phoned ahead, so I’m not sure of other menu selections. As always when traveling, I... More

On a day when there was no electricity the gas-powered kitchen at Don Udo's not just did not disappoint, it excelled! Tender, perfectly seasoned steaks were served with perfectly cooked vegetables while a seafood pasta was, although perhaps a tad small, a wonderful treat. The calm environment and nice decor puts it all together. It was disappointing that the plant... More

Ate here with a group of friends last night and was underwhelmed. The restaurant is to the side of the courtyard of the hotel and is lovely and comfortable. The service was ok and a bit slow, but the bit we were most underwhelmed by was the food. We decided to eat at Don Udo's after reading several good reviews... More

Our group of fourteen visited this lovely hotel for a four course dinner. The food and staff were excellent. The "piece de resistance" was Don Udo's homemade chocolate and chocolate liquer! The interior courtyard was a seating option for appropriate weather. The expat Dutch owner, Udo, was a charming character who regailed us at dinner in English!

The Hotel is excellent. The food is incredible. They have a filet that is better than anything I've eaten in the states. Everything is clean, service is great.

Had a lunch here as part of an Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT) tour package. It was one of their included lunches. The food was "plain" but very good. The portions were fairly generous. The place is just a short 3 block walk from the town square. The service was a little slow, however, there were 17 in our group.
