Order the Martha salad. It has pimento cheese and chicken salad. The pita chips are fantastic. Come at 1-2 to avoid the crowds.

I was given a gift certificate for Martis, so had to try it out. I had their half sandwich and a small bowl of chicken w sausage gumbo. Mmmm, Mmmm good! The salted pita points were a nice change from traditional crackers in your soup. The half sandwich was a Tuna Melt on toasted wheat,.very mild tasting, and so large... More

Marti's is an old Athens favorite. Get there early or call in for take out. The sandwiches are huge, one meal for $9.00 is enough for 2 people. My favorites are the Chicken salad sandwich and the pimento cheese sandwich. Comes with fruit and baked pita chips.

Great lunch, but a whole sandwich was almost too much - could have split it with my wife, but didn't! Now I need a nap. Highly recommend!

Marti's at Midday is excellent for what it does. It is a fantastic place for lunch--and the carry out casseroles has saved many a dinner party. Food is excellent. It is noisy and often crowded--which is indicative of how much it is loved.

This is a great place to eat for lunch. It is not well-known. They serve lunch and you can buy meals. The portions are very big. My sandwich and soup were enough for 2 meals.

A couple of parking places in front and a few around the back down the hill. They must have alot of walk up customers. Where do they park? The building next door says private parking and we will tow; construction on the other side, screening up & hard to back out.. What a mess! Lunch was ok, but the celery... More

The food at Marti's is ALWAYS on point! Even though lunch time does get busy, the wait here has never been an issue. Marti's accepts call-in orders too! Staff is always here the greet you with a smiling face!

Having really liked one of their frozen chicken dinners after I had been in the hospital, I went and got several varieties to keep in the freezer and liked them all. So, one day, while picking up several frozen meals, I decided to have lunch. While I had felt that the frozen meals were reasonable, I thought that the lunches... More

My daughter brought my husband and me to Marti's when we arrived for a weekend visit. Our first meal in Athens did not disappoint. I had The Big Salad, my daughter and husband had types of chicken salad and we shared the pimiento cheese. Everything was very good and an excellent value for the money. My daughter and I actually...
