French Onion soup was very good. Pork taco and hamburger slider was tasty. Sirloin was seasoned well but not particularly tender. Service was fine and the bananas foster cheesecake was worth it. You may want to consider reservations as this isn't a large place.

We showed up right before 6pm and were seated immediately. Quick service. Good beer menu. The food was pretty great. We had fish and chips and the trout. The grits were amazing. The service was efficient and the food came pretty quickly. The place had a cool vibe and got crowded quickly. Would go back when in town.

Had a great quick lunch. At least 2 dozen beers on tap from all over. Had a Kobe slider and some garlic fries with a raspberry ketchup. All wonderful!!

Went here for dinner while we were in town for a football game. This restaurant has a great selection of beers. Food was just ok. I had the fish and chips. The breading on the cod was a bit too heavy for my tastes. Service however was very good.

We walked in about 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon (even though it was an away game day, the search for parking in downtown Athens was an adventure) and gave our name to the sweet hostess. After about 20 Minutes we were seated. Decor seems kind of basic with lots of wood picnic type tables. There are several tables outside and... More

Evacuating from coastal Georgia with my wife, her father and two dogs, we arrived in Athens in the evening. By the time we got unpacked, Trappeze was one of the few nearby places where we could get a decent meal and a few drinks. A couple of days later, we were happy to find that they also had a very... I went with a friend and our experience was great! Our server was nice and inviting and knew the menu to recommend items. We got the tofu fried rice which was BOMB! Trappeze is fantastic! I would definitely go again!

Ate here on game day; it was not overly crowded or loud. Had the boiled peanuts as an appetizer. They were perfectly prepared--piping hot, not too salty and with a hint of Cajun seasoning. The pulled pork sliders topped with red cabbage were delicious. The hand cut fries were extra crispy, just the way I like them (the chef obviously... More
