Wow! Awesome meal at Edgar's. We started off with a small appetizer, the corn dip. Very good. My wife had stuffed pork chops - they were excellent. I went for the shellfish & grits - best I've had in the CSRA. Their twist was to add andouille sausage, panko-dipped & lightly fried shrimp, and shelled & chopped crawfish. Cheesy, spicy,... More

I enjoyed Edgar's. Nice list of wines and beers. Interesting dishes. This place bills itself as "farm to table" and the dishes were pretty cool. Not an extensive menu, but food is well-prepared. Waitstaff is very knowledgeable. There is a tie-in with Goodwill Industries that is also good to see. I had fried chicken with greens and mac and cheese... More

Really enjoyed my evening at Edgar's. Corn dip was good, smoked Gouda Mac and cheese was amazing, and the autumn butternut squash pasta was one of a kind! Our waitress Alicia was excellent, and Amanda who helped us at one point was very friendly as well. Will definitely return. I'm not sure if it was just on the night I... More

Good quiet atmosphere. Relaxing. Good service. Mac n cheese had this great smoky taste that made it to die for. Also had the steak with potatoes and mac n cheese that was very well presented. Would def go again.

Edgar's is a nice location for food and decor that is out of the ordinary. Very upscale look and artsy dishes that are creatively displayed and have unique combinations of flavors. Portions are generous and costs are reasonable. The service was a bit slow on our last visit which was unusual - especially given that it was not terribly crowded.

Very nice, modern decor. Excellent service. Good variety of local farm to table options. I tried the autumn vegetable pasta, which was a yummy and large portion. Enough left for another meal!

This was our first visit to Edgar's Grille, and we were extremely impressed with the food, the service and the surroundings. Our waitress, Alicia, was very passionate about the history of the Edgar's Grille, and was a cheerleader for culinary program at Helm's College. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, and was attentive without being overbearing. All, in all,... More

We arrived near closing time but Amanda was great and never made us feel rushed. She recommended a shrimp appetizer that was outstanding. I had the filet and it was seasoned perfectly and cooked exactly how I requested. The mashed potatoes were obviously homemade and delicious. Looking forward to returning.

Edgar’s Grille is unique -- it's named for the founder of Goodwill-- and a portion of every dollar you spend goes toward education programs, including support for Helms College, which has a culinary school. But that's not the only reason you should go there! It's creative, flavorful cuisine and the atmosphere is quite elegant. I had the salmon wellington and... More

Reviewed this fine eating establishment a couple of years ago after enjoying lunch. They have recently added a Sunday Brunch so my wife and I decided to try it.
