We love Mago for dinner, we are there at least 2 or more times a month. We have traveled a bit in Mexico, so we were excited to try Mago for brunch on a Sunday. We like Mexican breakfasts. We were very disappointed. First everything was cold. The second disappointment was in flavor. At dinner time the meals have a... More

The food was great service was great too. Nice variety on the menu, portion sizes were great. The only issue was it is hard to talk it was very loud in there. It was Friday evening though, and very busy.

This was our first time eating at Mago. We decided to try it for National Margarita Day. It's a very pleasant, colorful space. The service was wonderful, even though it was very crowded. There's a nice variety on the menu. You can get guac made at your table (fun for the kids.) There are veggie choices, too. The food was... More

Great typical Mexican food, along with some different dishes that have been awesome. Can be kind of a long wait on the weekends, but they did buy the space across the hallway from them, so the extra tables might cut that wait down.

I've eaten twice at this restaurant and find it to be expensive and mediocre. I have eaten at other Mexican restaurants in the area and like them much better.

Mago is an excellent Mexican restaurant with an incredible atmosphere. We've been here many times and have never had a bad meal. From Tacos to fajitas to steak You won't be disappointed. Great location and fun atmosphere.

This lively Mexican cantina, attached to The Metropolis Theater in Arlington Heights, has a huge menu, filled with interesting selections. They specialize in their moles ... and these are delicious! I had the pork shank with blackberry mole, coconut sweet potato puree and maple, pecan brussel sprouts. Mmm .... The mole was just the right balance of sweet and spice... More

Every time I eat at Mago, including this last time, I think to myself Maybe the other times were just flukes or maybe now they have their act together... and then the service is mediocre AGAIN. I end up here once in a while because other local friends will choose it when we meet for dinner and I'm not going... More

Had been here once before but left because of the noise. Tried again on a Saturday night but later in the evening (8:30 pm). Noise level was a bit better because we were seated near the windows vs. in the back or center of the restaurant. Wait staff was very attentive. Taco salad was good but had very little lettuce....
