Just a cute little old time place with seats at the counter, a few booths, and watch the cook grilling and toasting. Love the tenderloin, the onion burger - onion cooked in the beef - and skinny fries. The ranch dressing is worth buying on it's own! Get it to dip your fries in, delicious, and I don't like ranch.

We and friends ate at the lemon drop one evening.. It is a very small restaurant with minimal seating. It was clean and the waitress was exceptional. We all had onion burgers on toast. The burger was just a thin burger with a little onion mixed thru it. I couldn't taste the onion. For me it was nothing special. Before... More

You can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu here. And it will be prepared right in front of you. The waitresses are friendly and memorize your order. Anything off the grill will be done to your satisfaction. The fries are tasty and the salads are fresh.

Cute little building , food is from out of the 50's. Love the grilled cheeseburger. My favorite part is the ice for the soda pop. Some how it makes it taste even more refreshing. I just wish the place was a little bigger inside but it does seem to work with the room they have.

Great place for an "onion" burger. Has been a Madison County (Anderson) iconic staple all my life. If you've lived in Anderson - you've ate at the Lemon Drop.

Great burgers, if a little small. Very limited seating. Food is always tasty, quick, and how can you go wrong with a little train bustling along the ceiling.

The lemon drop is pretty well known in Anderson. My kids love the milkshakes. The onion burgers are good. Fries and onion rings are good, but nothing special. Its just a fun place to try.

The Lemon Drop has been in Anderson as long as I can remember. In 1950, my family and I would go there for their delicious hamburgers! I still go there. Their hamburgers and onion rings are still delicious. While you are waiting on your meal, you can watch the locomotive go around the inside of the restaurant, tooting it's horn.... More

Small, old school, friendly, model train around the ceiling,& darn good food. Yaya, that says it all. Hamburgers any way you want them. I get mine on toast with mustard, onion & pickle. Good old Hoosier breaded tenderloin sandwich. Great fries & onion rings. Pretty much any flavored Coke you want, fantastic milkshakes. It's pretty much packed all the time.... More
