We loved the opulent interior of the restaurant which is located next to the Medina. The Moroccan food was delicious and seemed very authentic. The service was attentive and traditional. There were local musicians who played traditional instruments and sang which added to the experience. The menu was rather limited. There was a prix fix menu which offered the standard... More

The setting is very luxurious and the staff are very well trained in the service of fine Moroccan dining. The semi set menu does not give one a huge amount of choices, which is probably a good thing. What you do get is very well thought out and flavourful. Amongst the starter salads ( one gets 8) the saffron flavoured... More

We arrived at this restaurant and my name was spelled out on the beautiful table cloth with red beads! The dinner of Moroccan salads and a veal tajine was delicous. We had a unique desert made with filo pastry and cream and yogurt. There were musicians playing during dinner which was pleasant.

Located in a one-hundred-year-old residence, La Maison Bleue provided us with one of our best meals in Morocco -- a simple three-course lunch. For starters we were served traditional Moroccan breads with eight perfectly seasoned salads: zucchini, fava beans, cauliflower, eggplant, peppers, potatoes, carrots, and pinto beans. The main course was a delicious vegetarian pastilla and dessert was orange slices.... More

I had wanted to savor this place with its traditional ambiance and food. Alas, I did not. The seats were low and uncomfortable, and the many pre-cooked "salads" (vegetables) were merely okay. We were supposed to have some miraculous special chicken cooked with lemon, but it was so stringy and tough most of our group struggled to eat it. Dessert... More

The room was nicely lit and tables were spaced apart.. Scallops for an appetizer were delicious. There as white fish over cous cous that was beautifully prepared and tasty. Baked apple and ice cream for desert. The building was very interesting with a main floor and upper level. The noise was moderate and allowed conversation.

We stopped here for an 'included' lunch on our personally guided tour. No other patrons were evident. The service was adequate and the flood pretty good but not spectacular. The portions are much too large for an American lunch.

We decided to have their three course dinner. It was a very pleasant experience. We started with 6 or 7 vegetable salads, all very unusual to us but good. My wife had a seafood pastilla and I had a pigeon pastilla. Both dishes were very good. We then had this out of sight dessert made with phyllo dough with creme... More

Our visit here was booked by friends visiting from the UK. The food was third rate and overpriced and a scam operates regarding the 'Wine Included'. Avoid !

We dined here while we were on a luxury tour. The food was a pleasnt surprise after many dys of Moroccan cuisine. It was French inspired but on the light side. We chose to order ala carte but you can order prix fix. The decor is ultra modern, also a surprise, but comfortable.
