We would highly recommend this place for the friendly host and tasty food. We ordered the Moroccan salads, four seasons pizza, turkey skewers and pot of tea for two for 165MAD. It was fresh and not excessive, not the same as all the other places on the tourist track. Our host was really friendly and sweet, teaching us Arabic and... More

We choosed this little restaurant in the Medina because there weren't aggressive men that try to take you in. This restaurant don't need them. This is a clean Moroccan restaurant with a typical Moroccan cuisine. Plates are very nice and authentic. The owner and all the staff is really polite and helpfull. We tried the Moroccan soup, the cous cous... More

We chanced upon this restaurant while looking for something quiet amid the chaos of the Blue Gate eating places and couldn't have been more delighted. We received a lovely welcome from the all-girl crew and immediately liked the peaceful decor. The seating was comfortable and practical. The menu was relatively simple - typical of most restaurants in Fès with a... More

We chose this place for dinner based upon our Airbnb hosts recommendation. Grab A table outside if you like to people watch. This place is right by the blue gate and they serve great Tagines!

The waiter asked if we wanted some drinks and we asked if it was free, the waiter said yes and served us with fluent English, which is so rare in Morocco since most people speak Arabic and French. However, when we saw the bill, we were charged extra for the drinks. We asked the waiter and he excused that he... More

If you want a nice comfy homey dinner in Old Medina with a very good price... Just go here. The cuisines are very authentic, since it is a family restaurant. When you enter the restaurant you defunitely will get a homey morrocan ambiance; something that you cant easily get in the middle of Fez Medina

Bland food in an empty tourist restaurant with staff who couldn't give a hoot about whether you ate well or not. I'm still convinced my harira soup was made from a packet of dehydrated stuff. Save your money and get a sandwich.

We ate tonight at the Bouayad. What a relief ! No harassment but just a friendly welcome, this place is an oasis in the Medina with very good food at reasonable price. What I like most : to sit and just concentrate on the food choice. This is only possible in restaurants where prices are soft and quality equally good.... More

I had a very good meal at this place for a very good price. Happened to get a look at the kitchen and I honestly don't think there are a lot of places in Fez with such clean kitchen. It's a family business so it's a matter of pride to serve good food at honest prices. Highly recommended!! Going back... More

simple food but very tasty in this nice street restaurant (but their dining area inside is very classy!), located so close to the Blue Gate that most people tend to ignore it, after having survived all the waiters from the other eateries lined out on the small main street that try to get you in. This is the last one,... More
