Hidden behind a bland wall in the Medina is this restaurant in a delightful garden setting. Menu changes daily dependant on market availability . Whilst menu was limited to two choices per course , quality was excellent. Reasonably priced wine list

It may take you a while to find this place, but it's worth it for the cool garden and the atmosphere. There's a simple French menu, and the food was well-prepared, if not especially original. I don't really see this as a place for dinner, but as a nice break for lunch, where you can sip a cool beer and... More

Had the veal. Large juicy steak. Pricey for Moroccan standards but worth it. Nice little garden to walk through and sit in while you enjoy the food and service.

We ate lunch in cool of the garden which was very pleasant. The food is different to the usual menus of ravines snd couscous. Everything was very tasty but portions are very small and prices really quite high. However ice cream portions are quite large and delicious.

This restaurant is rather tucked away in the medina qadima, relatively close to Bab Boujloud. The food is very well-prepared, and the garden setting provides a welcome relief to the bustle of the city.

Very nice garden and a good kitchen, although a bit expensive for what you get. Nice fish meal and they serve alcohol. Quiet place in the medina especially with the big garden, nice little exposition of 'kalebas' from all over Africa. Good service and friendly staff.

Walking through the gardens to get to the cafe provided a nice buffer from the busy streets of the Medina. The wait staff was courteous and spent time making sure I knew exactly what I was ordering- as I unfortunately do not speak much Arabic or French. While waiting for the food, I asked about the wifi password, and had... More

Loved our breakfasts outdoors and found dinner to be not as "Wow". Not bad, not wow. Do know, portions are very large, we were happy sharing one dinner between us.

Nothing to fault from our lunch here. Absolutely delightful al fresco dining experience in the fabulous gardens of a former Pasha's palace. Good, simple food and excellent service. Certainly worth a visit. They take Visa too. Not cheap by Moroccan standards, but not expensive by European or American standards either. And after all, how many times are you going to... More

The Fez Café is a charming Moroccan bistro set at the edge of our vast garden and topped by an immense rooftop terrace - perfect for a dinner under the stars. Under the careful guidance of Michel Biehn himself, a Provencal food connoisseur with three award-winning cook books to his name, our chef at the Fez Cafe crafts a market-fresh menu every day which draws its flavours from the Morocan tradition, the East, and the home-grown organic vegetables from our own garden. We only use fresh seasonal ingredients. Our bar and Foosball table help make it a fun Medina meeting place. Open everyday for lunch, and dinner. Michel Biehn is the author of several award-winning cookbooks published in France, Europe and the United States. For a few hours or a few days, Michel Biehn, aided by his wonderful Chef Hicham, the head chef of the FEZ CAFE, will be happy to share with their guests, their oriental recipies and secrets of Moroccan cuisine. The cooking class starts by shopping on the market with Si Mohamed, followed by the actual cooking of the selected recipies with both Michel and Hicham. Then, it will be time to enjoy the prepared meal. Price:80 € per person.
