L'annexe has been able to consistently maintain a very high quality standard for its French cuisine at very reasonable prices. There is no doubt this is a must have. Some of the favourites are the mix of salmon specialities or the "pain perdu" if you still want to enjoy a great end of meal experience. Quality of the service is... More

Quite simply the best meal we had in Marrakech. French cooking done superbly. Rabbit terrine for me and duck pate for my wife. The terrine would not look out of place at any michelin star restaurant. Then superb steaks to follow served with garlic saute potatoes and salad. Other mains such as duck breast, pasta and chicken in a mustard... More

We enjoyed our dinner at L'Annexe, the food was delicious, we had goats cheese filled filo pastry for starters which was light and tasty and chicken for main course which was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. I thought the meal good value, my only criticism with the restaurant was the lighting which lacked any sort of atmosphere. Well worth a... More

Using TA we decide to give it a try: yes, it is of the beaten track, yes, it is very French, yes it is is not a tourist trap so GO- food is delightful nay exquisite , service is informal but good and you will be made to feel welcome (even with my school-boy French). We enjoyed it so much... More

We spent a busy afternoon shopping in new city of Marrakesh and stopped by l’Annexe for dinner. While the service was good, the food was lower than average. Quite disappointing and overpriced for the quality.

Had a fantastic meal here with my family, while here in Marakech. We were served the best food we ate the whole time we were in Morocco. The only bad thing I can say about the L'annexe was the way the boss treated his staff, he was fully abusing his young waitress who was so sweet and lovely and who... More

Great restaurant, reasonably priced for traditional french fair...not one to miss. The staff where very helpful and I had an amazing steak and fries-not traditional moroccan food but very tasty!

Perhaps it was the contrast with cuisine Marrakchi or perhaps it was just charm and civilisation. Either way, we did indeed go back for a second consecutive lunch. Olivier and his gracious team at L'Annexe serve great food which is a mixture of classic French with a few inventive twists. Our favourites were salade perigourdine, steack hache avec oeufs cheval... This is another restaurant which you would never find without a taxi driver or by accident. It is a very modern chic place which would not be out of place in any UK city. It was also the first place in Marrakech where the lighting was bright enough to read the menu without squinting! The service was brisk from a... More

Tucked away down a dark restaurant lined road in the new town, l'Annexe offers inventive and classic fare. The inventiveness comes from French-takes on Moroccan classics (Bastilla, sleds, etc) and from Moroccan-isation of French specials (foie gras with saffrony sweet sauce, osso bucco starter [fabulous] with oregano and olive). The classics are perfectly done steaks of good quality meat. The... More
