I was taken to this restaurant by a Marrakech University professor on the outskirts of Marrakech. It was a splendid place and run by the same family as the other central restaurant of the same name (and also brother of the great Mustapha of Al Fassia in Windsor, U.K.!) I expected great food and was not disappointed. I had a... More

Everything here is made to feel you cosy. Forget about intimacy though, this is a room where tables are very close to each other. Food was really good...but at the same time, lacked anything that made it special, The wine list is more interesting than most places.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent, Briouet selection is a must and the tajines amazing. We were also happy with the service. We did not experience any arrogance from the servers, it was the opposit: humble and caring servers. We did not meet the manager, so can not comment. This restaurant stood up to... More

A business dinner with a set menu which managed to fill every hungry mouth.......and more. Food was good and plentiful but service was rather lacking especially with drinks orders. Was good ambience but very uncomfortable seating making the evening feel very long. Enjoyable but would not return too quickly.

Had a tajine and a couscous. Both were blah. Nothing outstanding, yet the most expensive couscous and tajine we had in Morocco. Want to eat a succulent couscous? Try Naima in the medinah. Worth the walk, and 1/3 of the price.

We were anticipating a fabulous meal due to the reviews and starred listings in all the guide books. First let me say we ate at Al Fassia Gueliz. I believe the menu is the same at both restaurants. The food was tasty and decently presented, but we did expect more considering the fabulous reviews. I am an excellent cook and... More

While Al Fassia is definitely on many tourists' itineraries, this fact did not detract from our wonderful authentic Moroccan meal here. It is a very beautiful restaurant all run by women, which I thought was such an interesting feature in this country's culture. It is located in a modern neighborhood also outside the Medina, which we might not have seen... More

If you want a modern out of the walled city meal in a very pleasant atmosphere this is the place... (We are staying in the Medina and wanted a meal outside of the city that was not stacked with tourist.) We had the mixed salad to start (15 small plates with various combinations of vegetables...great to share) For the main... More

We celebrated our Anniversary in this Romantic Restaurant , they have beautiful candles on the walk way as you enter the Arched Door , The food was really good . I was disappointed with the slow service . The restaurant is part of the Guest House or ''Riad''which is really a very good way to experience the magic of Morocco... More
