Behind the facade of just a door in the wall at the end of an alley is an amzing riad which is used as a restaurant. We were greeted with a smile and a prosecco buck's fizz. The menu is Italian along with a Morrocan...More

Inside the walls of old Marrakech, confusion reigns. Crowded walkways and squares. But the walkways also lead past blank walls and doorways that hide gems known only to those who enter. Pepe Nero is such a place. Walking up to it, you almost feel like...More

This restaurant is just an absolute MUST when you are in Marrakech. Its in the owners former residence, and is just so immaculately maintained. Giovanni is the owner and is just a delight to speak with--make sure you talk with him. Call and get reservations.

Lovely meal at Pepe Nero which was recommended by a friend. We had a table in the room at the back but would recommend booking a table in the main room as the atmosphere seemed more lively. Lamb was the most tender meat we had...More

It's been in 2012 when I had dinner in this restaurant and the best recommendation I can think of is the fact that, 5 years later, cleaning up my notes I found it and had a great feeling about it. When having dinner over Pepe...More

Suggest Maison Arabe - 3 different restaurants - all good! But on other side of Medina. Fun to eat in the bar - there you can order items from all menus, I believe.

PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.
