I left Pepe Nero after dinner very impressed with the fact that it's possible to hide such a beautiful restaurant in such an inconspicuous part of town. The interior itself is wonderful, and combine that with high quality food, and you have a winning combination....More

We stayed at the hotel attached to the restaurant, and the setting was beautiful and peaceful. However, it really came alive in the evening when it was transformed into a busy and atmospheric restaurant. It had several rooms and courtyards for dining in and tables...More

While in Marrakech, we loved the tagines, but were ready for something different so decided to eat Italian one night. Pepe Nero was excellent! You will not be disappointed. Very accommodating staff and excellent food.

2 days later and I’m writing a review and the most telling thing is I can’t remember what I had to eat. Lovely setting, but the food is quite average. And for what it is quite pricy. Looked a little understaffed however the staff themselves...More

Pepe Nero is just about the most unauthentic restaurant in Marrakech. Which can be a good thing! We were getting tired of tagine etc and were about to head out for a difficult multi-day trek so we treated ourselves to a nice Italian dinner. It...More

This restaurant was recommended by many and while the food was ok (Cafe Arabe being head and shoulders above it), the night was ruined by the management allowing 6 people to use the pool dining section as a smoke break area. They seemed to be...More

We opted for the Italian menu after a week of Tagine and we didn't regret it. Firstly the setting is beautiful and very romantic (if that's what you're after) We started the meal with a cocktail and a beer and both were cold and well...More

Came here on the last night of our trip to Marrakech. Thank goodness we booked ahead - the restaurant is always full, but so so worth it, especially for a special final night! The food is amazing (pigeon pie is a must) and the staff...More

The restaurant is located inside beautiful riad with a lot of wonderful decor and plants. If you want to have a dinner there make sure to make a reservation as this place is usually full. Unfortunately, the food was rather average (restaurant offers both Moroccan...More

Suggest Maison Arabe - 3 different restaurants - all good! But on other side of Medina. Fun to eat in the bar - there you can order items from all menus, I believe.

PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.
