The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, in a converted riad tucked away in a quiet side street. The food was good - we went for the Italian menu and it was a nice break from all of the tajines and couscous!

Without a doubt this was the best food in Marrakech, but also one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant. I went for dinner with my partner and we ate from the Italian menu which I'd highly recommend - the food is...More

It's difficult for non meat eaters to find good food in Marrakech, but Pepe Nero fitted the bill perfectly. Of course, there was plenty of meat on the menu, but also there were delicious fish and vegetarian dishes as well. The salmon cappacio would do...More

Ate here last night. We were excited given the number of great reviews. Food was pretty plain. Atmosphere was nice, but a bit of a trek to get there, through dark allies. Have had better food during our stay.

A little off the square, we'll sign posted though. Got to the front door and was shocked by the size and poshness of this riad. The menu is a cross between French and Moroccan food. We'll presented and tasty. The only disappointment was the wine,...More

Our meal at Pepe Nero was a simply delicious experience. I was surprised to find such an excellent restaurant in Marrakesh and the service was top notch!

Although expensive by Marrakech standards, food is completely excellent and restaurant much calmer than those near the big square.

a dark alley leads to a wood door that opens into a jewel, with fountain, and clear blue 'pool', surrounded by tables. Clear design chairs gave an air of space - which when you looked up, you realised you were looking into space - open...More

Suggest Maison Arabe - 3 different restaurants - all good! But on other side of Medina. Fun to eat in the bar - there you can order items from all menus, I believe.

PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.
