Snack Toubkal is located in a corner of Jemaa el Fna and was our favorite place for lunch. You get authentic Moroccan food at great value and despite the central location we felt pleasantly secluded (we liked to sit at the back). If you're at the main square and need to grab lunch, this is the perfect place!

We were advised by someone to go to this restaurant because is good. We can confirm that the food was good enough for the price. The service was average. The atmosphere... You have a view to the main square... I think is enough for you feel the spirit of Marrakech.

It's not the most nicest atmosphere restaurant we have been, but for a quick meal at any time during the day is perfect! I ordered tajine 🍲and because of the waiting time they served me free salad, the tea was really good and the staff is nice - in the morning for example, it was the only place where they... More

This is a great real place for real food, nothing fancy at all. I found this place in a guidebook which raved about the pretty terrace overlooking the square. Maybe the book was old because there isn't a terrace, it's an upstairs room with windows, certainly not pretty. It wouldn't be my first choice of places to eat but my... More

We ate a small meal here after a disappointing experience at another restaurant on the edge of the souks. Toubkal is situated on the edge of the main square Djemaa El Fna. The clientele is a mixture of locals and international tourists. Service is swift and efficient and the food is good and very cheap. The mint tea is excellent.... More

Right in the corner of the Jema El Fna Square. Clean, basic. Food of the usual sort - tagines, couscous, kebabs. Lamb chops are tasty but greasy. Service is a bit variable. Stay away from the seats at front and sides to avoid pesky street-hawkers.

Can't say this is the best dinner we had, but it was ok and offers a variety of moroccan dishes. It is very cheap - average of 30 dirham per main dish, so expect to spend approx 50 dirham for a meal including drink, entree and main. Better to eat here than on Place Jemaa el-Fna.

We couldn't really enjoy our meal since street merchants were all over the place. Every 1,5 - 2 min somebody is coming to you offering a cheap Chinese crap. I know it's part of experience in Marrakesh, but simply there are better options out there. Regarding the staff - if you wear a massive gold neckless, you will receive a... More

This title should give you clear explanations about this cafe. Even if you are on extremely tight budget - STAY AWAY!!! This place was recommended for good typical Moroccan food and although interior and menu (30 MAD main course) looked suspicious we decided to risk. Bad choice(( Beef was ... stringy / impossible to chew wouldn't describe it well. Couscous... More
