Cheap and superb food (though the salad a bit plain)! Food was ready fast and the lady working there was nice.

I visited the restaurant in March 2014. The service I received was generally good and friendly. I had a chicken tagine cooked with olives and preserved lemons. The food was completely fine but nothing special. I also had mint tea which again, was fine but nothing special. When I visited there was a football match on so the atmosphere was... More

I came to the Baganziz Cafe in 2012 and was excited to come back in 2014. My nostalgic memories of the cafe did not disappoint, and I have eaten here at least three times in the last week. The food is cheap compared to restaurants in the same area and the staff are relaxed and friendly. You will not find... More

After Reading reviews on tripasvisor we went in to eat lunch. Everything was dirty and sticky. But we tried.... First we got a salad and found a worm in it. The avocado in the salad was all Brown. Then we got a pancake with cheese and one with chicken. Tasted like paper.... We will NOT recommend it to anyone! !!!!

Nice food for not a lot of money. You can taste it has been prepared with care. Setting could be better but is ok.

We ate here 3 times as we enjoyed it so much. As a vegetarian I struggled to find tasty food to eat whilst in Marrakech, however Baganziz did a very tasty vegetable tagine. Unlike other veggie tagines I'd had whilst we were away this one had flavour and was well cooked. Good selection of veggies too. The veggie couscous was... More

We had a lovely dinner here many times. As a moroccan I know quite well the difference between what tourists are served up in the square and what authentic moroccan is, and this is really it! It tasted just like home. Delicious moroccan courses in great portions will have you unwilling to move. We had the beef tajine, and some... More

It you can manage to find this place give it a go. Had a wonder ful salad with tuna and my travel companion had a traditional chicken cous cous dish all for under 60 dirhams ( £5 approx ). The owner was chatty friendly and hospitable - great city great atmosphere great little place - no frills just good food.

This place was a little gem. For 30 dirham we weren't expecting much but the vegetable tagines we got were superb. Really delicious and filling. It's a simple, no nonsense place for a quick bite to eat on the cheap.

This cafe is near from Jamaa-El-Fna but doesn't face it. So it's easy to go and not noisy. The taste is normal but price is very reasonable. This cafe's boss is very friendly and there are many good young moroccan. If you stay long,it's good for you to take this cafe's seat and make friendship with local persons.

Thank Kawabe
