Ate here five nights in a row because it was so good. Food good - pleasant surroundings in the courtyard and also convenient to our Hotel Oudaya. I would have given it an Excellent but they did not seem to offer large size beers! We stuck to tagines as they are well cooked and reduce the risk of food poisoning.

That's what this restaurant is actually called which is why it is sometimes hard to find -- located next to La Taverne which seems more like a bar then a restaurant, this garden oasis is incredible. It takes you away from the mayhem of Gueliz while offering a range of fantastic foods. We tried both the Moroccan speciality as well... More

This restaurant provided a perfect setting for a quiet evening meal very close to the Tourist Information Centre. The restaurant has a quiet garden with tables dotted about. The food was varied and well cooked (we had a set meal for 130Dihrams) and the service relaxed but attentive.

We just stumbled over this restaurant whilst walking in the new parts of Marrakech. Really nice and quiet garden and a great place to escape the traffic for a while. Not crowded at all and the tajine i orderd was everthing i expected. I recomend this place mostly because of the atmosphere and their prices.

After seeing the review below where someone had failed to find the restauraunt I was worried, but found it very easily! Food was excellent, the best I've had in Morocco. Wine was also good. Try and eat in the outside courtyard, it's peaceful and very pretty and Moroccan. The server was very polite and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable (and... More

After looking long and hard for this particular restaurant we failed to find it. Not even the locals nor Googlemaps could help us even though we were definitely on the right Street. A bit of a disappointment since I was looking forward to visiting this place..

It was our first night in Marrakech and we were looking for something "authentic", but that sold beer and catered for vegetarians. This was in the Gueliz, a vine-covered courtyard with a great menu and good service (and local beer). I had Kefta tagine and my partner raved about his vegetable couscous. Although we looked about for the rest of... More

Found this place by accident but delighted to stumble upon it. A lovely little courtyard shaded under foliage, quite atmospheric. My friend had fish of the day, I had veg tagine, both very fresh, and efficient courteous service. Reasonably priced alcohol and a relaxing environment to eat in.

Went there relatively early in the evening (7:30ish) with my partner and were literally the only people in there. Garden terrace wasn't open so cannot comment on that! Felt a little pressurised to order but food arrived very quickly. Was pretty basic to be honest (steak and kafta) and non-exciting but good value for what you got. Alcohol was particularly... More

We ate here on Friday 17th October 2014 and I got food poisoning from the chicken Tagine. The restaurant looks nice from the outside as the garden looks so beautiful, however the waiter was somewhat dismissive when we didn't give him a lot for a tip, and the service was slow too. My girlfriend ate a four cheese pasta dish... More
