The first thing we asked when entering the restaurant was if they accepted credit card. They said yes. Once we were over and tried to pay, another waiter said there was a minimum amount and we should pay by cash. We tried to explain we had no cash and we had verified with his colleague but the waiter immediately started... More

It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. The food was allright. It does have a nice view over the city and they serve wine.

The rooftop terrace is really lovely. We had the couscous royale, which was excellent, with an onion confit along with it, and chicken and lamb. We also had the Atlas trout meuniere, good but not as good as the couscous. And we even had a bottle of wine. Nice experience, not expensive.

We paid less than 400 DH for a typical Moroccan lunch in a pleasant environment. What more can you ask for? Food was tasty and the service good. Not so many Moroccan Restos will give you a glass of wine, but here they do. Another reason to come.

Rather than the food, which is great, I can talk about the rooms. This was a happy accident as my wife and I had booked a night two months before at Riad Yacout, but at the very moment we arrived, they preferred to provide the service to someone else, anyway... they chose lLa Collier de la Colombe for us as... We came for dinner and enjoy the beautiful, secluded terrace, which we had all to ourselves. At sunset, we were treated to a gorgeous spectacle of swallows and cranes swooping overhead in endless circles - a breathtaking sight. The food was good (nothing spectacular, but no complaints) and they do serve alcohol.

Best food in Meknes. Large portions, beautifully cooked and very tasty. We could not eat all the food and would share a meal next time we go and we will definitely be going back. The Riad is stunning and the terrace is a lovely overlooking the lit up city.

Nice view, average food, serves Moroccan wine (not very impressive). Harrira soup was nice (the quantity served was huge). My wife enjoyed her neck of lamb with prunes. My Couscous Royale was very ordinary, except for the quantity, which could easily have fed three people. Tip to the management: reduce the quantity and increase the quality.

The food is fresh and well... More

I love this place. Can be a bit hard to find if you aren't used to it, but lovely. A great setting, lovely food and friendly staff - a lovely rooftop terrace view in the evenings - I just get drawn back - their Harira soup is to die for
