The restaurant was difficult to find by navigation until we saw the signs of the restaurant at one of the busy market streets. A few blocks further and you find the restaurant in a quite place. The restaurant is decorated in the common traditional style. It has no terrace or WiFi. The food is fine and the portions are big,... More

Food was ok but not really good. We had tajines and a pastilla. Living room atmosphere made you feel local but the waiting time of 45 mins made it boring again..

Here we had the worst dinner during our entire trip to Morocco. Chicken tagine I had was un-eatable. The chicken was like made from rubber I barely touched it. Pastilla was not good either, it was too solid. The prices are too high for value.

Friendly, home-like environment. Set meal too much for one person to eat - suggest sharing the main course. Tasty food. Relaxed environment.

Perfect place for everyone who wants to try traditional moroccan food. Delicious couscous and the best mint tea in the whole Morocco! :) Nice and kind wait staff and very friendly general atmosphere.

We arrived late in Meknes very late and found ourselves outside the shut doors of this restaurant. A local friend of the owner saw us and started shouting and knocking really loud to get them to re-open the place only for us. We couldn't really pick from the menu but we got excelllent tajine de poulet au prunes and we... More

It's a family restaurant located into the old medina. The food is traditional and cooked by a wonderful lady. We wait a lot of time but because it's all prepared at the moment. Cus-cud very good and tajine as well. High five for Kenza!

I came here with my wife for dinner, we found the place on a little alleyway not too far from teh grand mosque. The food was some of the best I've had in morocco, possibly one of the best restaurant meals in morocco full stop. My wife had a lamb tagine which was very nice and the meat very tender... More

A lovely, homely restaurant that serves fresh local dishes. Waiters are very friendly. We ordered figs with lamb and the cous cous royale. It was superb but there was no way that the cous cous royale was for one person. It was massive! Best to share that between two. They have a reasonably priced set menu, and it's just a... More
