Salma restaurant offers a few options with 3 course meals for 150-170 dirhams. If you are not very hungry, one of those options is enough for 2 people. We ordered soup, pegion pie and Moroccan pastry. Terrace on the roof floor has a nice view over Meknes. Of course, there is traditional mint tea for 10 dirham and not so... More

I would recommend it for a coffee, not for food. Try the grilled chicken not the couscous or other typical plates. Usually they serve 3 course plates for 50 dirhams. No alcohol served, just a local wine.

It's a bit pricey for an afternoon menu, but the food is excellent and the ambiance is what we needed - peaceful, quiet and clean. Recommended if you're in the medina of Meknes. The pastilla is excellent.

Well set back looking across at the Medina . A good place to unwind after a spell in the souq and then avoiding the sandwishbars in the square just outside. Well looked-after on the terrace by staff who were coping manfully with the demands of large groups of tourists.

We ate here with a small group of 15 and were seated upstairs in a nice, screened off room. Others we saw were eating at tables outside in the sunshine. The starters and bread were tasty, and service was fast and attentive - although the room was freezing and they could not get the heater working. The vegetable soup of... More

We had a group lunch here on a visit to Meknes. They served us a starter of lentils, beans, & eggplant. The bread was very fresh. The main course was tangine beef. It was the best meal we have had since we came to Morocco 4 days ago. They served fresh fruit for dessert. The service was very good. The... More

Food isn't bad, but the restaurant is set up for huge amounts of people (even though our tour was the only customers, save three locals). For lunch, it was okay, but the meal was hardly memorable. Waitstaff seemed harried, even though the place wasn't crowded.

Took us to the terrace. Gave us a set menu at lunch time. We had to ask for the A la carte menu. The prices were about three times the normal prices. We walked out and were offered discounts on the way out. But we did not stay as we did not like being hustled.

One of the biggest restaurants we’ve ever seen, clearly designed to handle masses of tour busses. If you can get a spot on the 3rd floor terrace there is a nice view of the city to be had. The food was very good and priced in line with other tourist restaurants we encountered.
