Le Pilier is a nice Italian restaurant in Niamey. Food is good quality: pasta, pizza, fish, appetizers, salads, one cannot go wrong. A little pricey compared to others, but not really too expensive.

Quite possibly Niamey's fanciest restaurant. Delicious food, great atmosphere. The basement has recently been re-opened, which is incredibly cool during the hot season. The Lunch Menu also provides a wide selection with good value for the price.

Pilier is one of those "incontournables" in Niamey as everyone flocks there and security is reasonable. I for my part was never excited about the food but it's very decent most of the time.
