We spent a month in India before coming to Africa, and we were in Indian food withdrawal before visiting Zaffron. We ordered entirely from the vegetarian curry part of the menu - Dal tadka, which is a delicious yellow dal, vegetable jalfrezi, which is a dish with a surprising depth of flavors (the bald description in the menu doesn't do... I ordered food for delivery and plan on ordering again. Everything was delicious and I saved the mixed raita to eat with chapati. Butter naan was the best I've had in Kigali and huge pieces!

I was looking for some Indian cuisine and found this restaurant a short walk from my hotel. The staff were very attentive and the food was good. I had chicken vindaloo and enjoyed it very much.

I have eaten a lot of Indian food in my life, but this was honestly the best I've had. Paneer starter was fantastic, as were the onion bahjis, naan breads, and curries. The service was excellent too. We'll be back!

Not only is the menu quite exhaustive, they also adhere to your demands and preferances. The place is quite large and quiet.Parking is not a problem .The MasalaTea and Pan are also quite welcome.

Our waiter was wonderful, attentive without hovering and made sure our needs were met. The kitchen prepared some wonderful dishes for us, even making some needed adjustments to suit dietary restrictions. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Kigali, it would be wonderful to see them busy every night!

The variety is impressive, rich menu The food is good and the price is definitely connected to reality The atmosphere is pleasant, resting place, spacious, ample parking and the complex creates an experience Certainly it is clear the city has no small Indian community, more then some local Indians spend there time there
