This is located near to the Animal Education Center/Zoo Entebbe, Victoria Mall and main road. Good place for lunch, official discussions and meet up. Ideal for a dinner time. Real Thai taste and the foods are good.

The map is wrong, this restaurant is in Entebbe not Kampala. Try the Panang curry, tastes just like Thailand! Restaurant is set in the back of someone's house and nice to see a properly family run joint, the family is half Thai which comes out in the food. Beer is cold and the food is authentic. Would definitely go back.

Thammaphon is fine if you are starving and want decent food in a hurry. However, it is not somewhere I would return to for a celebration or a treat. The other Thai in Entebbe is more suitable for that, although it is more expensive, the setting/surrounds are more geared towards a nice night out. The setting at Thammaphon is definitely... More

Best Thai food I had so far outside of Thailand. The owner is Thai and very kind and her cuisine is authentic. No need to ask for additional spicy as it is already as it should as per traditional Thai food. Enjoy !!

The menu of this restaurant is in dollars. This is a very expensive restaurant but it is not so fancy. I will never go back to this restaurant anymore. Their food doesn't really taste that good. Terrible experience.

As some reader's of my posts may recall, my beautiful wife and I both enjoy Thai food. Unlike our visit to Soi in Nairobi, my visit to Thammaphon was very nice indeed! I ordered a chicken and veggies dish that was just filled with that beautiful Thai flavour their food is known for. The rice was perfectly done and the... More

I wanted to eat something thai as got good reviews from their friends running Chok Di thai, however after looking at their prices which were 4 times more expensive than chok di thai, I decided to drive down to Chok di thai rather than eating here.

This restaurant is very close to the Victoria Mall. I read about this place in my Lonely Planet book and was curious to see what it was like. Don't be put off by the way it looks on the outside, yes it's a bit rustic on the inside but it's kinda cool and spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly. It deserves... More

Decided to visit after walking past this place for 2 weeks. They have a fairly large menu so I just went with the vegetarian green curry. Couple that with a Coke and I spent only 23500 UGX. I don't know why some people are saying this place is expensive but when I get a meal that fills me up and... More

This place has good Thai food and they will make mild to hot if you want. It is not the best looking place but the food is quality. One of their dishes can feed two people if you order a extra rice. Great deal. Good variety of dishes to chose from and kind staff
