It's a must stop when we're visiting family in Abilene. Have been there on several occasions and never disappointed. They have many options and are reasonably priced. Nice kids menu as well.

Fast efficient service with a smile! Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Food was fresh, hotRelaxing but fun atmosphere that plays music of all generations. Great for groups of family, friends or business casual. Will definitely be back again!

People don't get much friendlier than in Abilene, Kansas. And Ike's place is no exception. Abilene is the home of the Eisenhower Home, Museum and Library, hence, the namesake for "Ike's Place". The food was quite good. Can't miss with beef in Kansas, but we also had fish. And the wine list is surprisingly decent. All at what seemed to... More

Excellent service and good home cooked food. Especially liked the cheesecake. Only negative was could be more elderly-friendly ... bathroom was cramped for mom's walker and that ramp was tight at the entrance and was pretty steep for older folks.

Ate here while staying at the Budget Lodge Inn next door. Had a great hamburger cook to order (medium rare). Service was good and waitstaff friendly.

Convenient to the motel next door. Went in for food n a drink. I had chicken in jack d 'n' fries. Which was very tasty washed down with a couple of coors lite drafts. Mum had chicken tandoori salad, very nice too. Pop had beef fajitas, not good. But all in a nice friendly place.

My wife and I decided to stop in Abliene and have supper. She had heard of this establishment and we decided to give it a shot. We were more than just surprised, we were astounded. The food was superb, the portion size was more than adequate and the prices were on par. The service was friendly prompt and efficient. I... More

On a road trip through Kansas, we stopped at the Eisenhower home in Abilene. Our first two choices for lunch/dinner at 3 were either closed or not open yet. Ike's Place turned out to be a great fallback. My daughter had the Bourbon Salmon Salad $12) and I had the taco special (3/$5). The tortillas on the tacos were stale,... More

This restaurant is easy to find. Building is half (dark) tavern, half restaurant. We ate lunch - a burger plate and a patty melt plate. Hand made fries were tasty. Sandwiches were average.

Great service and great food. We had the grill special (steak/potato/salad) all were done to perfection, all for under $20.00. Garret, our server was friendly and prompt.

Thank Sonya M
