I am always a great lover of Italian cuisines. This also the best restaurant for all kind of Italian cuisines. From wine to salad and starter they have a perfect combination to serve you all. Located in the heart of THAMEL.never forget to go there.

I had a great pizza with extra cheese. My friend had a great cannellini. Place was clean, and we had some decent wine from Nasik, India.

We visited La Dolce Vita after 2 weeks of trekking for a much needed break from Nepalese food. We both ordered pasta, which was actually very well cooked, but the portion size was very small and to top it off the dishes were expensive and 25% extra was added to the bill at the end (vat and service charge). Unfortunately,... More

We ate here two nights in a row. I had the cannelloni and the fettuccini with salmon. Both were excellent! The garlic bread and the house wine also were lovely.

We visit Kathmandu regularly and always eat at least once in La dolce vita. Great Illy coffee also. Nice and quiet with an Italian movie theme. The menu is short otherwise we would eat there more often. But I warmly recommend their bruschettas, pizzas and the tagliatelle al salmone.

I've been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and it's ok for a meal after a long day site-seeing and you're staying close, there are others that I would also go to. Brochettes were good so too the Lasagne. Pizza ok. Time for service varied.

After several weeks of Nepali food, it was a welcome treat to enjoy some lovely pizza and pasta. The ambiance on the second floor with large windows overlooking Thamel was lovely and relaxing too.

After a few weeks in Nepal I was craving some European food and this venue did not disappoint. Climb the many levels to the roof and enjoy a cool breeze in the sunshine. Great food and friendly waiting staff who are happy to chat in English or Nepali even if your language skills are poor!

Actually almost Italian - and after a couple of weeks of rise and curries, a real good pizza is fantastic. Candle-lit tables and cold white wine - I almost go here at least once on my Kathmandu stays. The four star rating is in comparison to other pizzas though - in a, say, Napolitan rather then Nepali comparison, it would... More
