We were taken to the K-too Beer and Steakhouse by our trekking guide and his boss for a farewell dinner. It was their choice. I had a chicken casserole that had barely 2 smallish pieces of chicken in it. My partner had a chicken steak that was as tough as ‘old boots’. I could not complain at the time as... More

I tried the steak with blue cheese and this was by far the best experience I had in the last 3 weeks of trekking in the Himalaya! The pancake with banana/chocolate sirup and the apple/cinnamon momos are as delicious as the steaks. If I ever come back to kathmandu, ill be back for K-Too!

We ate at the outdoor patio, not at the indoor restaurant. The lights in the patio were annoyingly fluctuating for much of our meal. How much was due to local load shedding and how much due to on-site problems was uncertain, but I suspect the latter played into the situation. The food, particularly the (buff) steaks, were very good and... More

The location is a little difficult to find because located behind a street. environment is good. I was able to enjoy nepal beer (although I dunk just 1 type of beer). I had expected delicious beef steak and taste was good but not very delicious. Because the meet was not cow but buffalo. Cooking buffalo need a skill to make... More

This was one of the tastiest meals I had in Nepal. The blue cheese sauce was really really good - yes, one does not get to "appreciate" the steak underneath, but given that Nepal is mostly hindu and not really known for their steaks, I did appreciate the tasty blue cheese sauce. Would probably have gone back a couple of... More

After a trek when you have cravings for meat this is the place to go. They have all kinds of food, steaks are recommended.

The food quality is average. The menu prices are hefty too compared to other similar restaurants in KTM, and on top of that you pay additional taxes. The table next to me were shocked to see the beer prices. Service is okay. The senior waiter tries to impress but there is no warmth in his interactions. He also simply changed... More

Look its OK,just not a mi d blowing experience like other reviews state. Steak is drowned under sauce so hard to taste the meat on its own. Yak is not listed on menu but the waiter said "It's possible sir". Did I get a Yaksteak? Who knows it's hard to tell under all that sauce. But the momos are great!... More

Meals were average and a little overpriced. The veg moussaka was mostly chips with a small side order of veg and one of the most expensive items on the menu.

After wandering around India and Nepal for two months, and mostly eating vegetarian fare, this was a welcome find for a hungry carnivorous traveller. The steaks are obviously the main drawcard, and live up to their reputation - scrumptious and juicy. However, the momos and salads are worth a try, too. The team at K-Too are very friendly, the service... More
