Watch out for the little street because you can miss it. The food here is ok, there is nothing exceptional but it is correct for the price.

Located just off Koh San road, so wasn't overly noisy! - but was busy which is a good sign. We had the chicken, hummus and chips Shwarma (140 baht). It was very filling (generous portion) with hummus similar to that in England. The food was also served very quickly with friendly staff.

I ordered Israeli breakfast (shakshuka and coffe). I wait for 25 min. Thai guests wait 5 min. Shakshuka is not real shakshuka. Coffe was instant coffee!!!! Disgusting! Taste of shakshuka is ok. But it is completely not Israeli taste!

This is a little gem found just round the corner from Khao San Road. It doesn't look much from the outside but my goodness is the food good! I had a very simple lunch of chicken shawarma, hummus and pitta bread. It was delicious! The staff are friendly and welcoming. Very quick service. If I am ever back in Bangkok... More

In the center of Bangkok. This restaurant has both indoor air conditioned and outdoor seating. The food is delicious. It is a mix of Israeli, Thai, and some western food. Prices vary between $5-$10.

Been here already two times and the hummus and falafel are delicious. Close to khao San road and a nice place if you are in for something else than Thai food.

My colleague took me to this place for lunch and was piqued with curiosity from outside, as there were a lot of patrons coming in and out - despite its hidden location. The menu is an extensive array of Mediterranean specialties and you could see from the orders that everyone has their personal favorites. We had falafels and side dishes,... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
