Went here on a recommendation and we where not disappointed. Had to lineup for roughly 30 minutes which didn't matter as we enjoyed watching the organized chaos of the kitchen.

My daughter and I decided to look for this place after having done some research on the internet. We were certainly not disappointed! This place is just heaving as early as 5 pm. The later you arrive, the longer is likely to be the queue....More

This restaurant is known for "the best pad thai" in Thailand. The line to get in took about 30 minutes, but the line is constantly moving and you get to watch the chefs cook the entire time so it goes quickly. The meals are a...More

Had to try out Thip Samai since it's so highly recommended. Truth to be told, the pad thai was good, especially when it is wrapped with the egg which is uniquely Thip Samai. It helps to keep the warmth in. I ordered the Superb Padthai...More

If you want a really authentic pad thai, this may not be it. There are definitely enough options out there that you can get something as good, cheaper, and probably less gimmicky; BUT Thip Samai is an experience. The pad thai is still delicious, and...More

Loved it twice. Love watching the cooks work their magic on the street and the Pad Thai wrapped in egg is my favourite in town. Oh and order the orange juice ... amazing! The line up can be long but it does move and the...More

Went as part of the 'Expique' tuk tuk tour so didn't have to queue, but even if we had needed to it would have been worth the wait. Absolutely delicious!

Arrived at around 8pm and had to wait for about 45minutes. We anticipated great things but sadly it didn't hit the mark. The queue was fine and watching the chefs cook passed the time, then we got to the front of the line where we...More

Two options... One is canal boat to Golden Mount (Phu Kao Tong) and then a taxi (quite close). Another is river boat to Tha Chang and then a taxi. Tuk tuk is also an option from either spot of course (but might be a... More
