good authentic Italian food with a reasonable price in the city centre of Bangkok. Choice of drink is also great.

The food here is very delicious and of high quality. The ambient of the restaurant is casual and relaxing. We had the Ciao Cesar, the Grilled Mushroom salad, ravioli tartufo and formaggi pizza. All the food was freshly prepared and had different layers of flavors....The caramel apple puff was an excellent dessert. The puff was soft and fluffy. Highly recommended. Service was excellent too.More
Warm and inviting atmosphere with kitchen on show and brick-bare walls. Huge variety of pizza and other Italian dishes. Great service.
This was my first time at Ciao Pizza, but I don't think it would be my last. We visited on a mid-week night, and it wasn't too busy (Covid to blame, I'm sure), so we had our pick of seating. Service was quick and attentive...from the beginning through to the end. The menu boasts 50 different pizzas, so there's a lot to choose from. We had a standard pie, since it's best to compare something you're familiar with on your first visit. It was a terrific pizza, just the right size and crust. I'd certainly want to try some of the other pies (except maybe the one with french fries on it). The wine selection was better than I expected, with about a dozen great Italian wines that are not easy to find anywhere else. For wines by the glass, there is only one choice of each though. But pick any of the wines in the list, and they'll go well with any of the pizzas or pasta dishes. This restaurant doesn't get top marks, but only because of it's decor. The service and food are what you'd return here for - both are excellent. But you wouldn't bring someone you're trying to impress here. It's not that kind of place. This is where you go with friends you've known for a while. The design is simple: concrete floors, wooden benches, glassed-in kitchen. Basic, not fancy. I'd definitely return here, or get delivery for the pizzas.More
After 25 years of living in Bangkok, I can finally nominate the Worst Italian restaurant in town. According to my credit card files, I have paid the bill eating here 17 times in the four and a half years it has been open but I...have never been told by a waiter that it is my fault that the dish is wrong. Nowhere in the menu does it say your food will be covered in Parmesan cheese. This was demonstrated when cheese was delivered after I started my soup and i clearly thanked the waiter but said (in Thai) that I do not like Parmesan Cheese. Then lo and behold my meatball spaghetti was covered with Parmesan. I protested and was abruptly told that I should have ordered it without cheese! This was repeated by a second waiter, so I accepted my fate and kept the dish as my friends (and host on this occasion) were enjoying their food. One of the chefs came over later to change the dish but they were nearly finished so there was no point. As I said, there are so many Italian restaurants in the Silom area, I will just not eat there again.More
i have been here now the second time and this time it was just perfect. waiter song is the most attentive waiter i experienced in bangkok. its not only the food but also the way the ciao pizza interprets hospitality is just superb. try the...cold cut appetizer, the seafood pasta, the pizza cou assaggi misti, or even the pizza diavlo are just great. not to forget the wine. we had a tuscany sangiovese merlot that was not only reasonable but excellent and good priced. i have been to many italian restaurants in bangkok. but the ciao pizza is definitely the best. not only the food but also the service!More
We celebrated my birthday here. All staff were friendly and attentive. Seafood linguine was super super fantastic!!! Mushroom soup was so tasty (Truffle oil added). We really love their foods , all are beyond expectation. Grilled sausages must be the good choice for your main...course. Lastly, you have to try their desserts !!! Super Yummy 🥰 I can eat tiramisu all day 🥺🥺 This restaurant is good for couple / fam / friends. We will go back soon!More
a bit hidden from silom road the ciao pizza restaurant reflects the fusion of modern and typical italian design. the manageable menue includes a nice variety of antipasti, pizze and pasta. the winelist includes some nice italian prosecco, white and red wine. the service was...attentive and very friendly (unfortunately we couldn‘t see their smiles because of the masks). and the food was prepared fast and yet delicious. the pizza dough is really italian, crispy, thin and very well done in the wood oven. mmmmh so yummy. last but not least the price. its a good quality restaurant with with fair prices and a nice atmosphere... viva italia👍🏾More
Best pizza’s in Bangkok with fresh products and a lot of choice. Very friendly staff! Cosy and well decorated restaurant!
Ok, not great. Had a small meat lovers pizza. The choice of ingredients by this restaurant either: (a) had started to go bad, or (b) the cheese blend was an awful choice which overwhelmed the pizza with funk, or (c) the meat started to go...bad. I guess I’ll find out in 24 hours if it was (a) or (c). Anyway, the taste was very off to me. And I’m not a pizza neophyte.... I’ve had pizza all over asia and europe (including Italy) and America. Other dishes that other diners had looked pretty good, so maybe I just got a bad pie.More
The service was good and friendly service with a nice home made lemoncello at the end However disappointing pizza ( especially the dough) and wine selection good atmosphere though
We find the restaurant cozy to have a great dinner!! The pizza is amazing and the Ciao bella cold tea is delicious!! We spend our 2020 Valentine's day there!! It was just perfect!! ♡
What a great place! I went here yesterday to have some food while I got some work done on my laptop and WOW. The pizza was amazing, definitely one of the best once I’ve had and they had so much great food on the menu....You could tell that either the owner is from Italy or have definitely experienced the heavenly places in Italy cause I felt and tasted like I was there! Oh and the atmosphere in there is so relaxing, so nice to come inside to that place from all the chaos in Bangkok. I also got a dessert which I had no idea what it was but it was delicious, almost similar to a tiramisu but not quite. I definitely recommend this for everyone, couples, friends, family or (like me) solo. Great staff and exceptional service, felt like I was back home in Europe with the standard in there. If I had more time in Bangkok, this is the place I would have all my dinners. Thanks for a great experience!More
During our visit in Bangkok we were looking for some good european food as alternaty to thaifood... and we found it just around the corner of our hotel - so lucky. The ambiente is nice, the waiters either - very kind all the time and...super fast/attentively. Everything we tastet, from pizza to pasta, was really really good! you might pay a bit a higher price than usual, but you get REAL italian quality and thats worth it. (parma ham, selfmade pasta, real italian salami, mozzarella, etc.) so if you go there, just enjoy! We were there a few times and as european (especially italian) you might get some feeling of "home"More
If you like to eat Italian food, this is worth every penny. Well made food. Pizza is delicious! Quick and lovely staff. Even little suprices after dinner. Price range is average on restaurant level.
