Not wanting to eat at the overpriced hotels restaurants at the Sheraton/Hilton etc in this area, we only really had this little cafe as an option for dinner and enjoyed it so much that we came back for lunch the day after. They serve very well done Thai cuisine, the Tuna salad is very recommendable, so are many other items... More

Found this place via trip advisor during out wait to check in at the Sheraton. Small little cafe but with a large menu of traditional Thai items. Our party of 6 were all very happy with our lunches from Pad Thai to Red Duck Curry. also the ice cold beers were a welcome sight on a hot day. Would highly... More

Arrived late in Bangkok. Were not interested in eating at our hotel (Sheraton). The hotel Concierge suggested the Gallery Cafe only a few minutes away from the hotel main entrance. We had a very nice authentic Thai food experience at a reasonable price. Service was efficient, the decor pleasant and the food very good.

The Gallery Cafe is a short walk from The Royal Orchid Sheraton and it was not busy and we got a table for 2 straight away. The staff were polite and we ordered our drinks and they poured your drinks for you but when you finished half your drink, they would approach your table and refill your glass and as... More

Had dinner here while staying a block away at the Royal Orchid Sheraton. Small cafe with inside/outside seating. There was a nice array of local art displayed on the walls of the cafe. The Thai food was well prepared and presented. Service was also very good. A good, reasonably priced choice if staying in the area.

We found this local restaurant close to our hotel on our first night in Bangkok. The staff were very friendly and showed us to an inside table where it was air conditioned. The food was very good on our first visit so we went again two nights later. Again the food and service was good, although on this occasion my... More

This small cafe is located about a block from a he Sheraton and serves good Thai food, that is made fresh to your order. We watched the chef toss a papaya salad and whip up some Pad Thai on the spot. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating on a quiet side street, and alcohol is served. In all,... More

Very very nice little Thai restaurant by a narrow one way road - a real hidden gem. Super good Thai food served by friendly and helpful staff. Very strong recommendation.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
