good for the symbolism and for the sense of belonging to the country while travelling in Thailand ...but India lingers all over Bangkok

Have eaten there in past but not again. Charged 150 baht ($4.50) for one piece of cheese nan!! All the dishes tasted like previous day(s) leftovers. Dry. Better Indian food on Soi 11

Been here many times. Loved the hukkah, jovial climate and love is in the air with lot of couples. Maybe sometimes. We can have a show going on on demand, and food inexpensive

Get off the ferry at number 5 for China town and work your way through to little India, full of indian restaurants and shops selling gifts and spices worth a visit if you can manage to get out of China town.

Really fancied Indian tonight, grateful that the place was family owned by Indians! In fact, the owner, Harry, cooked our meal for us! Be sure to stop in if you want a real meal served by real people!!

My wife and I recently moved to Bangkok and decided to explore the city one weekend by booking a hotel room. She wanted to have Indian food, so after looking on Trip Advisor we found this restaurant, with some difficulty from our GPS. If you follow your GPS you will not go far enough on the road to find the... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
