Ambience wise Somtam Nua is exactly the kinda laid back restaurant I love. All of the dishes we ordered were super tasty and hit the spot. The crispy chicken wings and the fried snapper were really the highlight IMO.

nice comfy restaurant serving local dishes. i find them goes well with my appetite. totally recommending this restaurant if you are looking for a decent place to eat

Mostly locals eat here, I saw some quite unusual dishes combinations not usually found. Had a papaya salad with ham and pork skin as well as fried fish. Worth a try than always having the usual dishes.
