Me and my wife wished to go to central world for dinner as suggest from our hotel but, along the way to central world, a man stopped us and said that the central world was closed, so he suggested us to go to this restaurant for only 15 baths. When the waitress gave us the menu, there were no prices... More

The taxi I took recommended this place after I went to a tailoring shop recommended by the same taxi driver!! We were tired after a days trip at the floating market and we were hungry. The driver suggested a sea food restaurant . There were very few customers there which is a clear indication it's a scam !! He took... More

We stopped there one evening - I had seen this place for years but never had eaten there. We ordered stir fried veggies, pla neung manao (a lovely fish dish) and a shrimp dish. The food was bland but the bill was almost 5000 baht. The fish, by the kilo, was 2000 baht. Of course that wasn't on the bill... More

This restaurant is a tourist trap, NEVER ask taxi and tuk tuk drivers to take you to a "good" restaurant. First day in Bangkok I and my wife were looking for a restaurant in Bangkok. After a chat with a local man took a reccommended tuk tuk to take us to a reccommended restaurant. We ordered two meals (fish, shrimps)... More

Don't ever ask a taxi driver to recommend a restaurant. 2 king prawns, one red snapper, side of white rice, 1 coke & 1 local beer. 3,710 bht. Moreover, the food wasn't very good!

For sure the worst and most expensive restaurant in Bangkok. The food which is incredibly overpriced is plain and tasteless. Stuck up service; really a disgrace to Thai hospitably. Also be prepared to be insulted if you complain about anything including the hoards of mosquitoes! They won't tell you prices and if you ask they are very elusive and unclear.... More

Four prawns, one salad, two local beers - 6800B = £120.00 When I only had half in cash several large men 'persuaded' me to sign a credit card receipt.... Amazing Thailand indeed.

I reckon it was expecting too much to be a farang (foreigner) in this country and not get ripped off at least once...obviously was relaxing too much and trusting too much. A longtime Thai friend, Patty, and I left our hotel just after noon to seek a restaurant We were only looking for a nice place with air-conditioning and good... More
