I would not usually eat in a hotel restaurant when visiting a city like Bangkok, however, finding myself unexpectedly confined to a wheelchair the day before I was fairly low on options and had eaten in the hotel bar the night before after a long trip to the hospital. I was not expecting much from an Italian hotel restaurant in... More

We ate at this restaurant our first night in Bangkok because we were exhausted from the flight and this place was in our hotel. Ambiance was nice. Restaurant was well decorated and staff was quite attentive. However, the food was just ok. We started with the tomato soup, drizzled with creme fraiche I believe. It was good, but not spectacular.... More

This place is average. Maybe good for pizza in Bangkok but definitely not great. Staff are friendly as you would expect in Thailand. We had antipasti bruschetta mozzarella tomato and basil salad and 3 pizzas. Bruschetta and tom and mozzarella salad pretty good. I would have again. Antipasti not great. Meat tasted a bit rancid. Like it has been sitting... More

Usually restaurants inside hotels are pretty average, but this is an exception. With the whole of Bangkok at your fingertips, you could easily overlook this rather special place, if you are staying there or nearby, but trust me, it's well worth a visit. I only had a pizza (pepperoni) but it was a delightfully thin & crispy crust - crispy... More

Nice restaurant in pleasant surroundings. The staff were friendly and the prices were ok to say it was in a hotel. Food was tasty and service prompt.

As I was leaving for the airport and my journey home, I decided to check out this superb Italian restaurant in my hotel for an early light lunch. Well appointed with a rustic theme, the Da Vinci has an excellent ethos. The staff are courteous, friendly, and efficient. I opted for the three course lunch with a glass of house... More

Located inside the Rembrandt hotel on the same level as the pool, so one side has views over the pool area. The service was very good for Bangkok, and the food was above average, a nice soup to start, a tasty steak and some sorbet to wrap up a Very Good meal.

We only had the margherita pizza but really enjoyed it. Nice thin crust, quality ingredients and very fair price.

We had the special menu for Valentines Day Dinner. The food served was inspired and different. Probably not what I would have chosen but an excellent combination. The dessert was one of best I've had in a long time. The wine choice was extensive and very reasonably priced. The Chef came out during dinner and spoke with each table which... More

The place is really nice and fancy, the food was perfecto. We shared ravioli and then a special beef they recommended us, we asked for it medium rare and it was on the exact point (difficult in Thailand) . We enjoy the dinner, service was very good too.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
