The vibes you get from this place are fantastic. The women who were working when we came in were awesome. They have all these little gadgets you can buy. They also have two dogs that run around the place who are really cute. We went in the evening and had their carrot cake for 80THB. The cake was average, but... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch and had a wonderful experience. The staff / owners are very friendly. We ate tuna salad sandwiches and my wife claimed Moka had the very best coffee she's ever tasted (and she's had lots of coffee on her lifetime). The deserts were delicious as everything is made in house. It is a little... More

A really small and cozy place in the middle of the Khao San area chaos. The coffee is by far the best I have had in Bangkok. We had slight problems finding the place, mostly because it being very small. The map location however, is spot on correct. Highly recommended from one coffee SNOB to all you others!

We had researched coffee places throughout SE Asia before traveling to ensure that no matter where we were we could get a good cup of coffee. This place was a definite awesome find. We visited here twice during our three day stay in Bangkok and each time enjoyed beautiful, hot and artful coffee and amazing cake. The homemade carrot cake... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
