This restaurant is opposite to Hello Kitty restaurant. Foods is nice and value for money. Will bring my family there for dinner next time when we visit Bangkok. One of the waiter knew that we are tourist, bought us a picture menu for us to order easily. The vegetable in the picture is the remaining after we had eaten some... More

Order oyster omelette, tom Yum soup, mixed veg, basil pork and fried squid. The food are authentic and they are in the business since 1981. You have to go down early to avoid Long queues. Mixture of tourist and locals in the restaurant. Tom Yum soup is nice but it's too spicy. Oyster omelette is perfect and even nicer than... More

Delicious food at good prices. The grilled pork was exceptionally tasty. They even have a picture book of their most popular dishes. Just point and order.

Tom yum is good. Generally tasty. Staff don't speak much English. We waited quite a while for dishes and there are long breaks in between dishes.

Enjoyed a quick lunch at this authentic, no frills Thai restaurant in Siam Square. We tried only 2 dishes for our lunch- the Grandma Fried Rice and Yum Tua Poo (Wing Bean Shrimp Salad) Anytime you see a Thai restaurant filled with locals that's always a good sign. Unfortunately, I felt we ordered the wrong items which really didn't go... More

We ate here twice and loved it for the no nonsense wait staff, brilliant non touristy food and of course the ridiculously cheap prices. On both occasions we had a short 5 minute wait on the bench outside watching the world go by and on both occasions we were the only farangs which was quite comforting. Recommend anything on the... I had pad thai and was blown away by the presentation and generous amount of prawns (about 10)! All for 90 baht (no service charge). Tip: pay in cash only. To get here: diagonally across from the Hello Kitty House at Siam Square One.

Thank Peggy S
