Do not go to sriayudhya seafood, I was cheated by a taxi, a crab, a pineapple fried rice, six Thai shrimp, a piece of asparagus, 4800 baht, the original six to go to pull the train market, the driver said today eight Half of the open, suggested that we go to the nearby restaurant to eat... We got suckered into coming here by our scammer Tuk Tuk driver. Avoid this place!!! It was our first day in Bangkok. We couldn't look anymore like tourists. This "friendly" passer by "informed" us that the temple we wanted to see was closed for the morning for a "holiday". He flagged down a tuk tuk driver and said he would... More

I am embarrassed to admit that I fell for this scam because I know better. We were in Bangkok for one day and wanted to see the Grand palace so we hired a car and driver from the BS Residence Suvarnabhumi hotel for six hours. I will make sure to mention this in a separate review of the hotel so... More

This restaurant is also known as Somboondee seafood market. We had terrible service from surly wait staff, with no greeting or welcome. Very unusual in Thailand. The crispy fish was very good but the crab with green curry sauce was very bland, more like scrambled eggs. The crab had no taste. The vegetables (morning glory) were overcooked. Worst of all... We came to this restaurant by recommendation. I will say that the food was good. However, 3 of us had a modest LUNCH and we were shocked at the $348.00 (U.S.) 11,840 baht check. That's right, $348.00 for lunch. Three of the items ordered, a 1 1/2 lobster which we were charged $120.00 U.S., grilled Sea Bass at $70.00 U.S.... More

We asked taxi to take us to Tip Samai, he said it is closed will take us to great restaurant. 😂 At least we can tell our kids and family this was the worst scam. Bad food bad service. And do not ask about the bill, they just added an extra meal and taxes that do not exist. Stay away,... More

Interesting place. The lamb shrwama had an old cooked-meat flavour which was dissapointing but not suprising as they only spin and heat the meat once requested. Otherwise I belive it remains at room temperature. The saffron rice was nice, the chicken sewers were OK, but had to return a whole baby chicken smothered in rice due to an oldish/microwaved meat... There was a rat in the hall, while we were eating. We complained to the staff and the manager not only apologize but he threatened to hit us. These behaviours are disgrace to the whole country and these persons should be banned for keeping restaurants. They are threat to public health and the worst adverisement for a whole nation!!!

This place is not what it appears, the waiter lied to us about the price of the lobster ,and after finishing our meal the total came up to 11,000baht plus. There is no way in the world lobster in Thailand cost more than in Hawaii. That price is equivalent to $340 US for 2 people. On top of that the... More
