The restaurant was lovely and had a great feel to it. We came from dinner and breakfast the next day. Breakfast was great! Really recommend. Dinner the night before was a little hit and miss. The starters were amazing, then my husband asked for Pad...Thai with some added spice but it was really bland for him (had better pad thai's elsewhere) but I had a tom yum soup that was really flavourful (there were some big pieces of lemongrass still in the soup that I bit into a few times that wasn't pleasant) but the flavour was perfectMore

There is a line of vegan-friendly and vegetarian restaurants on the road at the back of the other end of Khao San Road. We chose to have brunch randomly at one of the restaurants – Ethos Vegetarian Restaurant. They have Pita bread with hummus can...never go wrong, and is all-time favorite. An amazing vegetarian restaurant! They prepare everything there even the kombucha and the tempeh! Awesome food and flavour! We also tried the mango sticky rice and it was very good. Definitely recommending. It’s a great place to try a healthier thai food alternative.
I visited the restaurant with a group of friends initially just because it was the only open place late at night (11pm-ish) and despite noone from our group was vegetarian. What we encountered in this little dark street where the restaurant is located (reeeally difficult...to bump into it "by chance") was beyond everyone's expectations. Such a relaxing and romantic atmosphere, brilliant food, great choice of traditional thai meals but in their vegetarian/vegan/gluten free version! I could imagine that it would be very difficult to people on a special diet to try out traditional thai food elsewhere because these things are usually not taken into account in Asian restaurants (not to mention street food places) We stayed in Bangkok for 4 days and had food there twice - which is a big portion given the large number of other options around the city- just because we wanted to explore more options! I feel like I cannot recommend enough, just go there and you will have the best food experience! :)))More
Found vegetarian food quite hard to come by in Bangkok but ethos is a gem, tucked behind the main road it has a relaxed vibe and a great range of food. The spring rolls are especially decent.
It is not easy to find this place as it is located a little further from the main road. It is a very nice and cosy small restaurant. Half of the seating area is made of the low tables and pillows to seat on the floor....The food was fresh and really good. Big portion size and very reasonable prices. Fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. Definitely a place for a tourist who prefer less noisy and less party atmosphere. We enjoyed it a lot.More

Good vegetarian food with decent portion sizes. Quite a quirky place to sit as well where you can sit cross-legged if you want to. They did better on food rather than drinks for our orders but overall a good experience.
We had dinner there lastnight and everyone in the restaurant went frantic coz there was a huge mouse.... it was disgusting!!! Most of the people ran out of the resto... and loads of ants too on the wall. I can only imagine what goes on...in that kitchen.... bad dangerous location.. they surely lack staff as well.More

After arriving in Bangkok and searching for vegan food, I was handed a leaflet to this place, it did not disappoint! We ate dinner one night and lunch the next day! Vegan pancakes, huge juice/smoothie/shake selection, awesomely tasty authentic dishes and western dishes. Will definitely...visit again before leaving Thailand!More
Have been there 2 times for this trip. Food was ok but service was poor. Rude staff by an older waiter who served in the afternoon. Keep showing black face. A young lady was more polite. Was served by her in the evening. Overall, not...a good experience. Will patronize another vegetarian restaurant a few shops away from this restaurant.More
