Great Italian restaurant located at 220/4 Sukhumvit Soi 1, Bangkok, on right hand side as you walk up Soi 1 and is just before the first road into Bumrungrad Hospital. If you blink you might miss the entrance so be watchful, look for Mr Oreste the owner, who sometimes sits outside. He is 'the man', knows his food, wine and... More

I've been eating here for more than 10 years. I enjoy their pasta very much, especially their "Paradiso" with foie gras and truffle. La Buca cake has a lot of alcohol and is one of my favorite dessert.

Delicious authentic italian food, most ingredients are imported from italy. Owner from italy, very friendly and chatty. Located near Bumrungrad hospital, if you are around don't miss out on this little gem.

Found this on a walkabout escape from Bumrungad International Hospital, and had an absolutely fabulous meal. It really brought me back to the summer I spent in Italy trying to pick up Italian(s) at the local trattoria. Wine selection had a good range, and there were lots of pictures on the menu.

This is a small Italian Restaurant that is run by an Italian owner. The food was amazing. The prices are average but certainly a great meal. Must check out.

If you only enjoy fancy and chic restaurants, this is not for you. La Buca is a small, simple restaurant serving authentic delicious Italian food without fuss. The owner will treat you like guests at his home. I was there with a friend and we were going to order antipasti from the menu for our starter and he immediately warned... More

Just leaving the hospital and needed something different than what we have been eating. This place knocks it out of the park! The food is delicious and clearly made to please. It's a bit pricier than its street vendor counterparts but each Baht is worth it. This is a meal you will be telling your friends about. The environment is... More

I am regular visitor for sub 1,000 of medium rare ribeye and for truffle risotto that can hardly be matched. Steak with blue cheese source is the worst yet inevitable enemy to my wallet.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
