Flavourful peppery noodle soup topped with crispy pork belly. Ordered the large portion for 100THB and was super worth it. This stall has good mix of locals and tourists. Must try when in chinatown!

Excellent restaurant, high quality for a budget. We paid about 80 baht for crispy pork with rice, and about 70 baht for crispy pork with rolled noodles in broth (my personal favourite). Highly recommended!
Delicious, quick food. We just happened to walk past and joined the queue of local people. The food was delicious and cheap.
A Michelin recommended restaurant that may be the reason that long Q expected during lunch hour. You can order the foods first while in the Q. Restaurant is reasonably clean, service is pretty friendly. The famous Quay Chap has the white peppery taste and aroma, pretty good. The roll...noodle not as smooth as thought,Most ingredients are ok in taste. Roast Porks not too bad. 3.5 Stars for me.More
Excellent peppery kway chap, tender grilled port and juicy pork trotters. Queue can get long at night but it moves pretty fast. Loved it!
We ordered the braised duck, roasted pork, kway chap, n coconuts juice. Not bad taste. We asked for small portion as we already ste breakfast earlier. This is a Michelin restaurant. We also ordered dessert at the stall nxt to it . Not bad taste (tou...suan & black glutinous rice). We nvr realised this dessert shop exit.More
I had personally visited this stall before in the past. It was so good that this time round, I had to bring my missus here and it will be her first time. The broth was peppery, in a good way that stimulated our appetite even...more. The ingredients were fresh and therefore there was no gamey taste or smell at all. Be prepared to queue if you are coming during the peak dining hours. Will always recommend friends to visit this stall!More
This is a famous Michelin recommended food. They are known for their kuay jap pork soup. When we arrived, there was a short line but we were seated promptly. We found the fried pork to be very crunchy and tender. The rice roll was chewy....The broth was tasty but very peppery.More
My colleague knew I liked rolled noodles, so he recommended Nai Ek. He warned that there is usually a long line, and there was. Getting there is easy: a short walk off the Wat Mankgon metro stop. However, there is no large sign in English....We found it by the building address (442) and the long line. Once in line, I read the menu to ensure I was at the right place. We waited only a minute when a staff member saw us. Since we were only two people and the other groups were large, we got seated right away! That was a nice surprise. My husband ordered the minced pork with the rolled noodles, and I went for the crispy pork with rolled noodles. The crispy pork was better. However, the broth lacked depth, and neither bowl was memorable. We've had better rolled noodles in Bangkok, and will continue to patronize those other establishments. Not a bad choice, and certainly a good value (small bowl=60 THB, medium bowl = 80 THB); just not the most memorable.More
Their prices were very reasonable and their dishes tasted as good as prices. Many foreign travelers were eating at this local style restaurant and I wondered what made them come here. The dishes didn't taste like European but tasted like Thai-flavored Chinese with more pepper...than usual, slightly greasy from pork. The origin may be a good street food.More
Reviews don't lie...the food was very tasty. We had fried pork with rice and although I don't like pork this was amazing. Just be aware big Singha beer is really big - 620ml, we had a problem to finish it :D
Had dinner with friends. Came highly recommended by my couple friend who are both chefs. There was a long queue but surprisingly the wait was not as long. Its a very simple restaurant, no air conditioning but Michelin-starred. Its right along the main Chinatown road....We ordered the rolled noodle soup and duck rice. The soup was extremely good. The broth was so flavourful and the pork slices was tender. I regret having just a small bowl. Should have ordered at least the medium size, large might be too much for 1 person. The duck rice was also heavenly. Crispy, fresh, and flavourful, even the rice was just as good. Price-wise, it was affordable. You can have more servings if you want too without overspending. Service - was just ok but fast. I guess people just come to eat and leave. Nothing to expect much. Must-try!More
We were wondering why there was such a huge queue in front of this Restaurant, which can take up to half an hour - the second time we passed was a bit less crowded and we were at the table after 10 minutes. The food...came very fast and was really, really good! I had a soup with sliced pork inside, the soup was perfectly spiced and the rolled noodles were great - in addition I had the crispy pork, which is one of the best I've ever eaten! Strong recommendation! Only 4 stars in the rating because the tofu with rice and vegetables, which my friend ordered, was average. Try it out!More
This is the first place we stop for our first meal after landed in BKK. Been to this shop for the last 30 yrs. We always ordered the crispy pork and the roll noodles. My husband got addicted to the crispy pork. Nai Ek Roll...Noodles always our must go to place to eat every year when we visit BKK. The service was great and very reasonable price. The owner very kind and friendly, she remember us and asked every time about California.More
