I don't profess to know a lot about Thai food, but at a guess I'd say this place is probably pretty authentic. The food is unimpressive to look at, but tasty enough all served up on barely clean melamine "crockery". Compared to other places we have eaten it seems reasonably priced. The tables and general setting are very shabby, everything... More

This restaurant is always bustling! The crowed is mixed and the atmosphere is always nice. It's a family run restaurant which I really appreciate to have just around the corner. They serve you swiftly yet your order can be left aside for a few minutes if you order take-out. The food is decent and the price fair. All in all... More

Since I am in Bangkok Suda has been there serving great food at little price. Always good for dinner when I am in the area. But at least once a month a must.

This little gem of a restaurant is tucked down a side street next to the MTR station, I've been coming here for the last 4 years, and it never disapoints. Its Formica tables and plastic chairs in an open sided building, which spills out onto the road, adding to the atmosphere. The menu is available in English, with pictures, helpful... More

I used to frequent this gem when I lived here in the 90's. Someone told me she's been here for over 40 years. Good for her. For me, it's like home cookin. Must haves: Tuna with cashew, fried pork ribs, crab omelette and the morning glory. Ah, the morning glory...

I'm visiting Suda since more than 15 years. Staff is friendly, but not always fast. But hey, this is not fast food. I always have my bottle there. So mixing my drink, placing the order and waiting for the food with the refreshment. Food is really good and compared with other restaurants in that area really cheap. Outside seating, plastic... Suda is unchanged at large, "outdoor area" grow with some tables, the mess of empty boxes, smelly restrooms, refrigerator from another time, many of the same staff since the early 80s. Surely many times have I said never again, but I will return to good chicken in banana leaves, Thod man Pla.The composition of the guests range from families with... More

Suda is a perfect spot to grab a quick and easy meal. The table arrangements are pretty fluid, so you'll likely sit next to strangers, which adds to the lively vibe of the place. The food was great, the staff were so so. Definitely worth a visit.

Horrible experience. Dirtiest place I have ever been. Hope I don't get a tummy bug. We had starters and drinks and could simply not order mains, we rather left and tried a different restaurant.

I've been here many times and it's always one of my definite go to restaurants when in bkk. It's nothing fancy to look at but all about great food and in a great location. I've eaten here alive, with friends, family and customers. Never had a bad meal either! Love it
