Doesn't really need an intro - well preserved bastion of french cuisine in the ever so interesting area of Patong. The specials are always surprising!

After traveling in Asia and eating local cuisine for weeks a nice French meal is a great change of pace. This place is in a very interesting area. It's on Patpong 2 in the red light area so be aware if you are sensitive (once inside the restaurant there is no indication that the red light area is just outside... More

Amazing food. Had a beef tenderloin. Home made terrine pate liver. Perfect taste. The red wine recommended by the owner was really good. Saint emilion. Will back again. Thanks mr serge

Vincent who lives in Bangkok intriduced me to Le Bouchon a genuine french restaurant with a wonderful selection if french dishes between us had scallops with spinach then magret du canard and I confit du canard - full recommended and in the heart of Patpong - the french owner from Lyon certainly knows what to serve and makes a very... This little french gem is hard to find but once you have entered and met the owner Serge you will regret the effort. Le Boucon's kitchen has the same size as a telephone booth but the dishes that transpires from there are delicious and reasonable priced.

This is a place reminding me my mother home cooking, where on the menu you canpick and choose for simple foodies such endives salad, home made terrine, "coq au vin" to name a few that i recently enjoyed in there. Service is convivial and the French Owner is there supervising the crew and advising guests of the daily specials. There... More

OK, we were at Le Bouchon with the family earlier this week. The place was not crowded like those hip places where you can't hear each others... Cozy and convivial atmosphere, we talked to some folks there, great moment! The food was great for us, not fine dining but like great quality French food... The steak tartar was awesome, foie... Empty place in the midst of a depressing area (pat pong). Used to be packed way back....sad now. Menu looks good but poorly executed...like no one cares ...raw chicken is not a good thing and when you serve a pate don't give the customer the last end piece ! Ugh! Don't think their refrigeration works well as everything was lukewarm... More

Bouchon is a great little restaurant in a seedy area off of Patpong. You have to pass a few girly bars en route to it, but it is worth the trip. The kitchen is very small, but manages to produce excellent dishes. We had the steak tartare which the owner Serge maid for us at the table. I had the... More

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
