It was such a pleasant and elegant experience, I and my wife felt like we were in a romantic date. They gave us warm welcome, and offered the best seat I believe with a stunning view. That soothing music in the background, some evening raga on sitar did actually fulfill the whole atmosphere. We were completely feeling blessed and thoroughly... More

We went to Rang Mahal for the last night of our honeymoon. We enjoyed a couple of drinks on the outside terrace area prior to eating which was nice. The food and service was great and we couldn't find any faults. The only let down was a couple on the next table who decided to FaceTime/Skype friends in a restaurant.... More

This was recommended, the views are beautiful and the food is amazing as well. Service is maybe to the point of too good. But you can't complain. The Bellini's are also so amazing!!

Located in the top floor of Rembrandt Hotel, Rang Mahal has some tables beneath the window, and have good view of Bangkok city. You can spend no more than 1500 Baht to have a large set meal which is delicious, so large that can hardly finished by single person. The waiters are kind, polite, and always smile. I recommend to... The view, the food, the staff, the service and the entertainment were all amazing! I had the set menu, which is a little pricey but it was worth every penny.

Good for special occasions or just if you love good Indian food. The service shows the quality of restaurant it is. There was live music on Indian instruments. You can request songs. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time there.

This was my second visit to Rang Mahal following a private lunch arrangement by my Indian Friend. This time we decided to try their Sunday Lunch buffet. I was positively surprised by a few things. 1) The restaurant opens at 11am and was nearly full by 1115 mostly by Thai and later the after1230 the first Indians Arrived so they... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
