I went twice. Silly me. The wait staff are poorly trained. Could not deliver the complete entree at the same time. On his way to get some bread he had forgotten to bring with the pasta, he stopped at a table of four and took their order. Just on the other side of the place, the owner was yakking away... More

We went here because the restaurant we wanted to go to was closing. We ordered the tomato soup and that was the only good dish there. We had two pizzas and both just tasted like we were eating dough. The ingredients didn't have much flavour at all, not even the "imported" deli meats. It's a total tourist spot, expensive, not... More

We ordered a pizza and a beef carpaccio, with about 15 people in the restaurant it took over a half hour to get our food, and drinks while we ordered immediately took about 10 minutes to come. I was expecting a decent wine selection but it was about 4 whites and 4 reds, which were very ordinary and comparable to... More

I have no idea how many times i have been to this Italian restaurant. Never disappointed me with the thin and crispy pizza and the seafood salad. The restaurant run by an Italian man with a very nice and friendly Thai wife. The pizza here is one of the best in the town. I love the seafood salad here. The... More

This place has always been a good option for us if we want a long, lazy lunch when in Town as it is open all day. The pizzas have never disappointed us and the pasta dishes are ample and tasty . The service is good and the owner very friendly. A great place for people-watching on a lazy or rainy... More

Good pizza, a nice big size - big enough for a hungry person or two to share if not too hungry. On the expensive side for eating in chiang Mai but all Italians seemed the same price so you get what you pay for. So lovely to have some cheese! Staff were ok, attentive enough and were smiley. Nothing spectacular... More

in short : pizzas are pretty good. not spectacular but good (thin crunchy pizzas like the ones you find in Rome, definitely not a neapolitan pizza) location is average... you will quickly forget it. basic place without a soul. clean and very centrally located service is debatable. we waited more than 30 minutes and other people even more... too much,... We are an Italian couple, we travel a lot and I must say this was one of the best pizza we had abroad, and absolutely in my top 10 including Italy. It's just perfect. Quality, ingredients, variety, taste. Also, very easy to digest. Recommended And Forza Sampdoria!

As all Italians, after a week without eating Italian food we look for it! We found this place, which is not the most beautiful in town, but serves a good pizza, with mozzarella imported directly from Italy. Ingredients are good, pizza is cooked in a wooden oven, so those are all good reason to go there and have a pizza!

Stumbled upon la lanterna and very glad that we did. Delicious pizzas, friendly service. Pizza had an authentically Italian style thin crust and tomato sauce was delicious. Toppings were delicious. Well made pizzas. No need to say more!
