We ended up here after discovering the place near where we were staying is closed on Sundays. We sat outside in courtyard, what a nice place to just relax, drink coffee and have a huge breakfast. The veggie omelette was delicious and the portions are...huge, definitely shouldn't have ordered the pancakes as well, but I couldn't resist trying the gingerbread.More
It is not often, never in fact, that I have to write in a review that a cook is incapable of cooking a fried egg. Sadly this was the case with this place. They proudly offer various ways your egg can be cooked, over easy...is one of them. I ordered over easy, only to be presented with one of these thick egg white and rock hard yolk eggs. So I send it back and ask for an egg over easy again, and explain the yolk should be soft. I get another egg and sure enough again the yolk is rock hard. The whole thing was served with a miserable single slice of wholewheat toast from the supermarket and cardboard hard bacon that was even more overcooked than the egg. This was one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. Shame, because the atmosphere is nice with good music and nice booths, plus the pancakes are not bad. But don't order eggs, bacon or bread here. It is terrible.More
We really enjoyed our week at this lovely hotel. The room was spotless, air conditioning excellent---service was friendly and someone was always there to help us book activities, schedule laundry and order a drink at the bar! The salt water pool was lovely, and we...found the cold water refreshing after sight seeing all day.
Breakfast was delicious and again, excellent service.
Our first night we found a lovely restaurant "The Faces" around the corner---a retreat into a beautiful setting.More
My friends and I ate at Good Morning Chiang Mai based off of a recommendation from our hotel. The food was delicious (highly recommend their breakfast sausage and french toast) and very reasonably priced. We liked it so much we went back every day we...were in Chiang Mai.More
Stayed there for 8 days on the top floor where we had a view over the city with Doi Suthep temple glimmering in the distance. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. There was a little table and seating area within the room. Although we did...not spend much time in the room, it was welcoming to come back to at the end of the day. We spent some time lounging with family in the courtyard which was pleasant. The pool was refreshing and it was easy to walk just about anywhere within the city walls from here. I spent several mornings strolling through the morning market (Google maps lists it as Bumrung Buri Market) which transforms to the evening market for more delicious food.
We also enjoyed the massages - two thai ones and two swedish oil ones. All relaxing and quality.More
Of all of the places I stayed during my visit to Chiang Mai this was my favorite. The staff was wonderful. They were friendly and very attentive. They were happy to help me with questions and directions(much needed as this was my first visit). My...room was perfect and I had a beautiful view of the city as well as the pool/garden area. Great place for relaxing out in the evenings after very busy days. The cafe offered a nice vegetarian breakfast and accommodated any special requests. I plan to visit Chiang Mai again in 2020 and Good Morning Chaing Mai Tropical Inn is at the top of my list. Highly recommended!More
My omelette was delicious, my cappuccino fluffy, and the ambience in the garden was perfect. I came with my daughters who were both pleased with their food (granola and gingerbread pancakes). We will definitely come back next time we are in Chiang Mai.
Came here bc recommended on lonely planet. Orders the gingerbread pancakes and mocha. Mocha was stronger than I liked and didn’t have much chocolate. The gingerbread pancakes weren’t good, they weren’t fluffy or flavorful. They were dense, dead looking and stuck to each other. They...weren’t sweet, just really bland and bad texture. The homemade sausage was decent. This was pricey, was 175 baht for 2 pancakes, 2 small pieces of sausage, 2 small pieces of watermelon, and a mocha. Would not come here again. They also charge 2% for credit cards.More
