Location may be a bit tricky but worth coming here for the chicken. We had roast chicken and pork. Chicken is juicy(some part are less juicy) and the pricing here is reasonable. Service not too good. Not sure why the waitress here are not as friendly as other restaurants.

There is something the other reviewers need to think about with this. Yes the roast chicken is that, have I had better? Yes. Have I had a roast chicken in the middle of nowhere authentic style? No. The woman who work there are amazing, and the food is fantastic, there is nowhere like this in chaing mai. It is taking... More

best thing was location, 30mtrs from our hotel. The food was amazingly cheap and fantastically finger licking good. down side is no aircon. chiang mai in March is super hot.

This chicken joint was so good. The chicken was super tasty and the mixed vegetables dish was also so nice. You can get a whole chicken for 150 baht (£3.75) or half a chicken for 80 baht (£2) . It's a steal . Highly recommend

SP is hidden in a laneway but you'll find it from the amazing aroma wafting down the street! The freshly chargrilled chicken here is great value (150 baht for a whole chicken) and comes with some delicious dipping sauces. The som tum was also very good and didn't hold back on the chilli (which we love). A really simple meal... More

Very basic charcoal grilled chicken,(150baht/whole, 80/half) which is marinated with a hint of chopped garlic. Really delicious chicken with a garlic butter aroma. Portion wise it is a relatively small chicken so i recommend order the whole chicken if you are going there 2 people or more. I also recommend the grilled pork ribs (80 baht/6 pcs) which is simple... We came here for the chicken, which was good, but the pork salad was the best dish. I would go back just for that and have a little bit of chicken. The prices are very low, great deal here.

It looks basic - mankind's been grilling meat over flame for a while now and it's easy to pass by the entrance, even if you know roughly where it (I thought it was a moped repair shop at first). Note: open from 10 am until 5 p.m. (with 5 p.m. being "when they run out of food", so maybe four....).... More

We went here for lunch 2 of our four lunches. The roast chicken is great and we had a different salad to share each day. It was a lot of good food for about 250bht, which we would have again if we were there.

Visited SP Chicken after seeing rave reviews, we got the half chicken with sticky rice - it was a nice meal but nothing amazing to report on.
